Juan Williams : He's toast @ NPR

Liberal commentator is fired after saying he gets nervous when he sees Muslims on a plane .
He didn't say that on NPR . He said it on O'Reilly .
OFF WITH HIS HEAD !

It does not surprise me that the consensus would eat one of its own, but don't they usually promote failure?

Oh how we LOVES us some diversity of color and religion, just as long as you think the same and don't actually fervently believe in a god, unless it's Allah...

He'd a been ok if he said Christians instead.

Obviously, freedom of speech doesn't exist at taxpayer funded NPR.

NPR is a ridiculously liberal, ridiculously politically correct shithole. Reminds me of the Rick Sanchez firing, only with even less justification.

What's going on with liberals eating their own, anyway?

Nesenoff: Any comments on Israel? We're asking everybody today, any comments on Israel?

Thomas: Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine.

Nesenoff: Oooh. Any better comments on Israel?

Thomas: Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land. It's not German, it's not Poland ...

Nesenoff: So where should they go, what should they do?

Thomas: They go home.

Nesenoff: Where's the home?

Thomas: Poland, Germany and America and everywhere else

Nesenoff: So you're saying the Jews go back to Poland and Germany?

Thomas: And America and everywhere else. Why push people out of there who have lived there for centuries? See?

Not quite the same comment is it.

(always)WRONG ELEMENT wont get it

Why We Can’t Rely On The Left For Security

When the police, or the DHS, or the FBI raise the terror alert, and ask people to keep a lookout for anything suspicious

a: The left inherently thinks this phrase is bigoted.

b: They apparently have no idea what to look for.

c: If they know what to look for they will purposely not look for it because it would make them unenlightened.

d: They are looking out for Timothy McVeigh. McVeigh committed an act that they, frankly, are happy happened. If you look at their comments on the internet, that act is essentially what they keep bringing up over and over as the reason they CANNOT profile Arabs and Muslims. It makes no sense to them to do that when they can haughtily point to McVeigh. They also, for some self-sucking reason, keep insisting that McVeigh committed his act for Jesus. Which allows me to profile progressives as a-holes.

Of the comments that are decrying Juan Williams for profiling, nearly 25% of the comments on Huff Glue say something along the lines of “Hey, the people I fear are the TEABAGGERS.”

This makes 25% of the people (at a minimum) despicable. They’re not saying profiling is wrong, they’re saying people are profiling the wrong people. The left is not a serious group. They are children whose “high-minded” beliefs come from a place of bad intentions.

He may decide to turn republican now. They treat him well on Fox

Greta Van Susteren has been doing her best to bring Mr. Williams full-time into the fold.

Tucker Carlson caved in to her wiles but Mr. Williams is known for a strong moral compass. Good luck breaking that!

Wait, they said having a liberal on Fox made Fox too conservative, so they want the liberal to stop appearing, and that's supposed to make Fox less conservative? Only in a schizophrenic's mind does that make sense.

Dumbass, he's already on Fox.

Not full time.

And yes, I know he is a regular bobblehead there.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

wow, was that really that bad of a thing to say? so he said what he felt...omg, islam is about peace....now off with his head.

In my opinion, he was being honest. Now that he got fired, that goes with the territory.

shrug

Wonder if he would have said that he fears terrorist, is that comment would have also gotten him terminated….

If 19 Amish men hijacked three passenger jets and flew them into tall buildings killing thousands of people I'd keep my eye on Amish men getting on passenger jets with me. I'm funny that way.

Was that why he got fired? Saying if he sees a Muslim sitting in an airline?

offend MOOSEFUCKS, get caned

SHIT ON EVERYONE ELSE

ITS COOL!

HIPPO CREEPS

Flashback: NPR’s Nina Totenburg Wished Jesse Helms or His Grandchildren Would Get AIDS, Didn’t Get Fired…

Just so you know what will and won’t get you shit-canned from NPR…

Note: Totenberg still works for NPR…

(Reason)- Wishing AIDS on your political enemies and their children. Check out this clip, from way back in 1995, of NPR’s Nina Totenberg telling the host of PBS’s Inside Washington that if there was “retributive justice” in the world the (admittedly loathsome) Jesse Helms would “get AIDS from a transfusion, or one of his grandchildren will get it.” Totenberg is still NPR’s legal affairs correspondent.

Both were fired for saying something offensive. You don't find Williams's comments offensive because you don't like Muslims either. That's your right, but the brass at NPR also has rights. And their decision to no longer employ Williams isn't "censorship," a word I've seen pop up in this thread.
