WOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello, my friend! I feel in the mood to blog about taxidermy ;)

Now that I have been feeling better, I have been working on code. It's been weeks, though.

:(

This abscess was so bad, I had to get an antibiotic shot. I have no idea what kind it was, but the doctor found the infection going in my throat and all of that. In other words, it was pretty gross.

for a reason?

Yeah, me being oversensitive. Apologies.

Would it be better if there was a reason?

All thinking people look for reason in the world.

Fuckity fuck, Wok! I'm so sorry!! I hope getting it out is giving you some relief; and it's good the antibiotic was given to you; infections in the jaw/throat can spread to the brain. Don't fuck around with that. I'm sending you a million positive healing vibes right now.

who are you talking to? We all gorgeous, so you need to be more specific

;-)

Oops so right, a stunning lot...all of us:) I was talking to my lovely Sin.

Yes, the men here are so lucky to have a board full of hot, thinkin' women.

52 Eccles Street, Dublin. The actual address of the fictional home of Leopold and Molly Bloom, two of the main characters in James Joyce's Ulysses. I was published 2-2-1922, which was Joyce's fortieth birthday, by Shakespeare and Co, an English-language bookshop in Paris. All the events of Ulysses take place on a single day, June 16, 1904, the day Joyce met his future wife, Nora Barnacle. Nora and Joyce left Dublin that September, and lived on the continent for the rest of their lives, in Zürich, Trieste, Pola (now Pulj, Croatia) and Paris. Just shy of his sixtieth birthday, Joyce died in Zürich in 1941, where they had moved to escape the German occupation of Paris; Nora stayed there even after the war, dying in 1951 at the age of 67.

Episodes 4, (Calypso), 17 (Ithaca) and 18 (Penelope) all take place at 52 Eccles Street. The Penelope episode is a long monologue consisting of Molly Bloom's thoughts as she lies in bed with her husband before falling asleep; as such, it's in a stream of consciousness form: eight long sentences in which her mind wanders over the events of the day, her childhood and parents, her affair with Blazes Boylan and an upcoming singing engagement and onto the day Bloom proposed as she said, as the ending word of the novel, "yes".

[Sorry if anyone thinks this is stupid. I was tickled to find that photo on another thread, originally posted by Rhys.]

You have no idea how much I adore you now. No more boob murder. She does not bounce. Did you notice? There is no bounce.

I don't think robots are supposed to bounce.

Now, some would say the same thing about big boobs and curly blonde hair, but that's not an issue for me.

Oh, I saw that post too, in that sad, sad, sad thread. He was shown the door with that pic. It was sort of a really curt post, and I don't know Rhys, but I sort of applauded him.

The background is cool. Thanks for sharing.

...waits for you to correct something in this post ;)

ETA: Is there any cool back story to the fruit cake in that thread??? : p
