Suggest new music to me.

this dress comes with the song.....you'll have to sing it, sista :)

Did you notice how she can't fucking dance... at all?? I only noticed the third time I watched it. The first two times, I was just staring at her. mouth all agape. That is one dress of awesomeness, right there.

because she's doing the robot dance..."I'm your sexy robot"

imagine wearing that dress and singing that to your DH.....

Yeah, I'm sure the dress would be on me for all of maybe 15 seconds. Maybe. That's the kind of dress meant to be ripped down and off; or shoved aside for a quickie.

Ok, it gets more funny the fourth time. The robot moves are c-l-a-s-s-y. Totally.

Reminds me of Eva Cassidy.

Hard to run to that.

Hey! It was a thread by you exactly like this that made me start posting on the GB (along with the long dead Lost thread).

Absolutely agreed.

And the musicality of all their work completely floors me. Plastic Beach has all kinds of influences, it drives me into sensory overdrive whenever I sit and really listen (which I do at least once a week).

I hear Flaming Lips (Russel Ident), The Cure (Empire Ants), Falco (On Melancholy Hill) ... and even classics ..... Gershwin (To Binge) and Copland (White Flag). Yes, I said it. Gershwin. I love how that disc progresses, too. The music is so skillfully arranged.

Man I had somehow forgotten all about The Gossip until this thread. That Coal to Diamonds song is amazing.
