good morning aussies :)

well, daylight savings again - gotta love the extra hour of sun in the evening!
and now that i finally understand the whole thing with the clocks, the transition has actually been remarkably smooth.

we lost 3 of the 5 lambs due to poisoning.... the owner of the place decided to drench them as they had a little scouring, and unfortunately overdosed them.
so now we only have 2 left, both boys, but they'll drop their tails and nuts soon as we ringed them the same day as the drenching.
it'll be good to have them neutral - they're already starting to show the aggressive tendancies that rams get!

i've been busy in the garden - springtime and loads needs doing.
all the fruit trees are finished flowering already (the unseasonal warm spell over the last couple of weeks hasn't helped) and the vegie garden is beginning to look like a bed again instead of a weed garden!
i don't know if we'll be able to get any veg this year though.... the bunnies and possums have just exploded! so many! and it doesn't matter how good the fencing is, those little bastards can get under and over regardless :(

HE is coming home on wed.... yayness! :D.... and it looks like HE's got another position lined up at $1100/day!!!
but it may mean a move for us, again.
we'll be discussing it over the next few weeks and make a decision.

anyway, as you can see, i am actually alive ;) just not posting in here as often...
lazy moi!

Maybe we should ring some of our politicians ?

Always nice to see you drop in even if it is fleeting visit.

Hi all in Oz!

I hear you about all of the Xmas stuff being out already! :D It just seems so wrong. I guess I'm just more of a "purest." Gee, that sounds like a bit of an oxymoron on this site... ;)

Hope everyone is doing well and keeping each other warm. I know summer is on its way there, but spring can be a tad nippy. :D

Sneaking into the thread...........I'm not an Aussie but I did spend a fantastic few months there a little while back.

Hope you all are enjoying Spring :)

Hi Naughty,

Well I can say the same about Ireland...very friendly people, liked the beer as well. So no need to sneak in, just come along anytime, and don't forget the Murphys.

Hello Johnpalmerston. Isn't our weather in Brisvegas just so gorgeous again now the rain has stopped? Ah, you wouldn't be a "Mexican" for quids....;):D

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

that would be pesos...not quids...warm rain, that's how they tell it's summer in England, ....I know I've actually experienced it
