The wife and I went to a fairly popular Flea Market north of here. As were wandering around the wife noticed a young guy walking ahead of us and pointed him out to me. I had to do a double take.

Here was a young pup, mayb 20 years old, walking through the market wearing a patched vest. Now that wouldn't have gotten my attention so much except the patches he was wearing.

This guy was earing the three part patch set of an MC. Even that wasn't enough to really get me going except the colors he was wearing.

He was wearing the colors of a MC that doesn't exist except on TV.

That's right he had the name "Sons of Anarchy"on the top rocker.

He had the Reaper in the middle

And he had "Florida" on the bottom rocker.

What as even worse was he met up with a couple of others wearing the same colors.

I would love to be a fly on the wall if they ever meet up with any of the MC's roaming around our area.

I worked with plenty of bikers in the Tampa shipyard; all of them had the leather jackets and boots, and maybe one had a bike. Sidewalk commandos.

True. Drugs, prostitutes, and murder for hire but not coffee cups.

Not to mention they do tend to be slightly territorial.

In my area there are two MC's actively rolling. One is 1% (Outlaws) while the other isn't. (Enforcers)

Up where the Flea Market is you also see more of yet another MC, also 1%, (Hells Angels)

You also have to undertsand there are actual rules about the patches being worn on the back.

Most of the 1% groups would find the wearing of the colors of a fictional group to be either highly amusing or very disrespectful. In the first case they would most likely just harass the hell out of the kids at every opportunity. If they feel the second is true then they would remove the patches.

One thing you really don't want to do is wear the colors of an established club when you aren't a member.

They're called wannabes. As in they wanna be a biker.

These are the same ones who sneer when they hear about someone riding a foreign bike, even though they have never been in the saddle themselves.
