Ok, so I watched a big ass fight erupt in the Confessional thread and people were just tossing bombs at one another. Fucked up shit, it was awesome sauce. It caused me to bring up the fact that my friend and I hold an annual Hater Of The Year party in which we just trash everyone to win the title. Everything is fair game, kids, partners, religion, etc etc etc. So I decided to do a Hater Of The Week since I figured it would be funny. Best slam of the week wins as voted on by everyone who watches/participates. Don't take it to personal, it's prolly going to get ugly real quick. Gloves off people, let's rock!

I wish the state would cop on, and give babies a chance at a life with a new mum and dad , and take parental rights from the natural parents, who after been chances to get their lives together,fail .., despite help being provided time and time again.

I wish they would put the needs of the child first instead of the 'need to keep the natural family together'. Bullshit.
When a father's just served multiple prison terms for abusing the childs mother, including a 2 year term for beating her with a fire poker, why the hell would you want to encourage contact?. Why would you want a child to know his family background that includes nothing only abuse of the worse kind?

Why would you not notice there's something very wrong with the system when three kids from the same family are in long term care?

Why do you think the birth parents should have rights, when the people rearing the kids have none, and the kids will never be going back to those who just constantly let their kids down?

It is far easier to conform to societies expectations, to step, to fetch to diet and stab yourself over and over with a glittering little knife of self loathing and endless reproach (never skinny enough, never smart enough, never sexy enough) than to try to tread some opposing path, but not impossible. Society will still get you to stumble and fall back into your oppressed status, but one must keep climbing. If no one tries, nothing changes. Be brave. Be bold. Stand up and be counted. Women should, basically, shrug off the message they've been having screamed at them since the day they were born.
Its just like that. Ausus and I are more aware than most and we still have to deal with this shit.
