Why are General Board people so stupid?

Behold the sheer idiocy of:

I like the idea of a poor people's campaign. I like the plank of pushing for jobs, though I think it would be better served as one of the 1,000 points of light rather than as a federal program. I think it's absolutely necessary that we have a colorblind society and that there's equal opportunity in education...we need excellent schools everywhere (which is why the two teachers unions frustrate me).

I'd tell Rightfield what a retard he is, but KingOrfeo said it best one post later:

That's the phrase Bush Sr. used to refer to charity, isn't it? I have nothing but respect for people who donate their time or money to charity, but relying on those 1,000 points of light to deal with poverty in America is like relying on morphine to treat cancer.

Bump. Because Bronzeape posted. If he posted then it was guaranteed to be stupid.

A specialist might see five or six patients in a day. There might be a team of four per patient; surgeon, resident, anesthesiologist, etc. Then there's post-op specialists, like rehab and intensivists. A dentist don't do surgery. Not even dental surgery.
He don't understand what DDS means, do he?

http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos072.htm

Dentists diagnose and treat problems with teeth and tissues in the mouth, along with giving advice and administering care to help prevent future problems. They provide instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, the use of fluorides, and other aspects of dental care. They remove tooth decay, fill cavities, examine x rays, place protective plastic sealants on children's teeth, straighten teeth, and repair fractured teeth. They also perform corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases. Dentists extract teeth and make models and measurements for dentures to replace missing teeth. They also administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications.

The republican idea of the individual mandate is unconsitutional? I'll be damned.

Well then, they just gonna have to revert to a method of making low risk people contribute that doesn't force them to buy a private product.

Like taxation.

^^Anyone understand a word of what he said?

Liar's mistake here was not writing things out in crayon for the likes of off2bed...

Because Perg can man-up:

I should have said, "Not all dentists do all types of dental surgery." It was inaccurately phrased, I agree. There's surgery like draining an abcess--I've done that myself, still considered a surgical procedure--and then there's surgery like reconstructing a shattered jaw. I would no sooner go to my local family dentist for the latter than I would a veterinarian. Neither of whom would do the procedure even if I did.
How many times do you ever see a GBer admitting to inaccurately phrasing something?

Not even the self-aggrandizing Black Shanglan could do that.

Is this brand of idiocy contagious?

People get shot everyday in this country. The main reason this is getting press is because the media hopes to use it for political gain because the lady happened to have a "D" by her name.

Nothing to see here, folks, move along.

Liberals and Dumbocraps are drooling already, trying to make political gain out of some news event.

They do it shamelessly everytime. You know why? Because their political ideas are bankrupt and worthless and its the only way they get elected over and over. Oh, also because they have no sense of decency.

Renard Ruse scores the stupidest post of the month. So stupid even Karen Daft was able to smack him down.
We constantly hear how "homosexuality is an inborn trait", "nobody chooses to be homosexual", etc.

However, the idea that there are NO people with a mostly straight orientation who choose to engage in homosexual acts is blown out of the water by one little problem: the rise in female "bisexual" conduct among younger women over the last twenty years. Consider, these statistics from the Centres for Disease Control:

The number of females aged 18-59 who reported having ever had same-sex sexual contact in 1992 was only 4.1%, which was below the level for males reporting same sex contact (4.6%) at that time. In 2002, the number for females had literally skyrocketed to an astounding 11.5%, a nearly 300% increase in just 10 years. The number was estimated to have surged even more by 2005 to over 16% of females between 18 and 25. Numbers among males rose somewhat from 4.6% in 1992 to 6.2% in 2002.

So, can someone tell me how these numbers could have gone up so astronomically almost over night if its not a choice for at least some people, especially females?

Sure, you may say "who cares, I think its fine anyway." That is your opinion and its your right to hold it, however, its also the right of others to point out that there are significant numbers of people who can and do CHOOSE homosexual behavior.

We do not deserve to be labelled "extremists" or "insane" just because we make this statement. Its not an inbred inalienable trait for all (and probably not even a majority) of those who have same-sex contact. Its a fact, not the rantings of "lunatics" or "extremists" as even the CDC study makes this reality clear.

Ummmm.... it's been going-- in earnestine -- on a lot longer than that, r_r. It's only in the last 20 years that people are willing to talk about it.

That's crap. You're not a computer programmer, I guess.

I've taken both. And Calculus has no relation to programming computers. None.
aaaaahahahahahahaha Byron is a flaming nutjob idiot.

Stupidest person to ever get his hands on a keyboard...
