Really cool and in one of my favorite states: Utah. The National Parks in that state are amazing: Zion, Canyonlands, Arches, to name a few....

Not long after finding the skull of the dinosaur named Kosmoceratops, fossil hunters discovered another species they named Kosmokrameratops. This dinosaur exhibited several odd habits such as bursting in on other dinosaurs conversations and concocting wild schemes to find more succulent cycad fronds to eat. It had even more prominent horns, but was unsure of itself around pretty lady dinosaurs. It was often seen in the company of the Neumannosaurus, a universally loathed species among other dinosaurs, known for it's bad attitude, bulk and craftiness.

Depending on just which epoch Utah was swampy, probably much of the rest of the continent was underwater; at one time, the Gulf of Mexico extended up into Wyoming and Montanta. The Great Basin in Nevada is one of the most prolific sources of Ichthyosuar and other marine reptile fossils. but that inland sea wasn't really (or always) contemporary with the inland sea that occupied what is now the Mississippi's watershed.
