In and out in about 5 minutes. They still managed to have about 10 electronic screens to wade through.

So I'm done. Except for hanging up on the robot calls for the next 40 days.

Actually, in many areas, you can call the major parties' headquarters and tell them:

1) I've already voted during early voting, so
2) you don't need to try to sell *me* your candidate(s).
3) If you keep trying to sell me your candidate(s), I will seriously consider pulling my early vote ballot and voting *against* them. (You can't do that in most jurisdictions, but you'll definitely get their attention ;) )
4) If you keep trying to sell me your candidate(s), I *WILL* notify all my voting relatives, friends and neighbors and beg or bribe them to vote against your candidate(s).

Actually, if you get to someone responsible at the HQs, they'll do what they can to get you deleted from the call bank, as they're charged by the call, and knowing that you've already voted and therefore can't be swayed, they'll try to minimize their costs and maximize their cost-effectiveness for the robo-call program.

*Some* robo-call programs, I understand, actually have a "If you have already participated in early voting, please press 'X' and your number will be removed from the call bank" option. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, those programs aren't widely used because the companies that run them fear that too many people would <gasp!> lie and say they'd already voted when they hadn't.
