What took you so long?![]()
ooh, yerv gonnan made me blush*nodding*
*eyes wide and somewhat amazed*
Yeah, really, that was my first thought too. Her first? But it was definitely worth the wait, just don't make us wait so long for the next ones.
(Yeah, I said ones...*smile*)

only time will tell - but i felt it to be something i should do now, since i'm a mod; hopefully more of you great poets will put your own stuff forward more often and we might build a better rep for this place. who knows? guess it all depends on where else you intend to submit them. that has to be a big consideration. and when people have had a fair few pieces published already, they're not always in such a hurry to get the next one published just for the sake of it. your own work, F, is always a pleasure to read on the new poetry.Maybe we can still heal the disconnect between the forum and the new poems posted, which if anything has grown worse lately. I want to see more of your wonderful poems out there![]()
an anthology of our collective forum poets? now wouldn't that be something...Don't you think there are enough wonderful poems out there on the posts, in the forum, for a book?
You can't get enough praise, chip![]()
well, in a way you acted as midwife, so yay, loloooh just seen this must go and have a look, it feels like I've helped in the birth of a baby lol
*kicks annie up the rear end* Now (insert gruff voice) get to it, girl; i want to see something submitted by you by Friday, latest. k?found it and commentednow kick me up the backside and make me start submitting again!
ok. soon. i shall write one just for the occasion, subbing it as and when it arrives. thanks, T. sorry about your dry spell, but i've always found mine are a bit like winter is for trees - gives them that rest they need to dream and return afresh.*pout* I thought it'd be one we hadn't seen yet.
Seriously, it's still an impressive poem, now shock us with an untried work.
(I can hardly talk - going through a dry spell here but that's hardly your problem cb - submit away.)

Think that's been done or certainly talked about of course there's nothing to stop it being done again
who organised/funded it before, annie. any idea?
i don't know - maybe we should put it to the powers that be out there. though who'd select the material, edit it and generally get it all ship shape n bristol fashion? does Laurel do all that stuff? There's a LIT BOOK so why not poetry one from whoever funded that?
maybe an e-book, if not a print version. the interest in it would probably not be as high as other genres here, but we do have some fine poets ... it'd be good to see them get a little exposure and it might pleasantly surprise visitors to the site, seeing the quality that exists here. There are a hell of a lot of good poets here. I think A Lit book of poetry (erotic and non-erotic) would be a goer.
i don't see why that should be a problem. books i've been in before were made up of authors from all around the world.would different countries cause a problem?
