Welcome to my study; a place for thoughts, ideas, daydreams and writings.
I know my mind drifts like the sand in my name, so keeping the curious things that come to it in one spot would be far easier for me.

I get ideas, thoughts in the night, things I can't let drift away. I have to get them down, but have no place to do it.

Hence this.

A place full of notebooks and papers, desks and tables, comfy chairs and sprawling couches.

My castle is a place of fantasies.

In this room, you'll find mine.

I'm open to other people's thoughts on them as well, and even encourage outside thinking. Perhaps some things don't even make it to a full SRP... But that's what my Castle is for. Those flits of thoughts, devious and dark. Enact them as you wish.

Something that I've been playing about in my mind, with Vati's help:

"The Devil Went Down on Georgia".
Aside from the giggle that comes from the name, it's another pull into demonic ventures.
(I seem to have a thing for that lately.)

A woman's jealousy of a friend's well-to-do life leaves her wishing for something better than her own current situation. She meets a man that swears he can make her every dream and want come true- but she would owe him as well. Doubting his claims, she jokingly takes him up on it. With a snap of his fingers, he insists everything is going to change for her... Leaving her even more skeptical of this seemingly insane man.

The next morning, everything is indeed different.
She awakes in a house not her own, she discovers herself to have even changed.
She also finds him in this new house.

He's created this. So it's all his.
Including her.

-UPH has a big interest in this thread, as he was the first I bounced it off of.-

You Belong in Movies

An aspiring filmmaker decides to test the limits of his "starlet", trying to see how much she'll take for her fame. When he posts his films online, he finds them to be quite popular and revels in the internet fame himself. Wanting to increase his views, he begins to push even more, far beyond the girl's comfort zone of subjects and situations. He's not willing to lose his fame, and certainly not the key factor to it all...

(I'm still playing with this idea. Would greatly appreciate comments or suggestions.)

This would be a thread that would follow the "If it's allowed on Lit, it's game here" idea.

A young woman is writing a magazine article on what it's like in an actual female prison, spurred by the recent time done by Lindsay, Paris, etc. When she interviews a recently released prisoner, she discovers her questions are starting to hit raw nerves, aggravating the woman she's talking to more and more.

My thoughts were that the recently woman decides to give her reporter a taste of the stereotyped idea of a women's prison; dominating the smaller girl into being used. The reporter, horrified at first, realizes that she actually enjoyed it, and returns to the woman days later, begging for her to do it again.

Just a thought.

Manuscripts Left on the Tables...

Threads I feel died before their prime.

Damaged Goods - My first attempt at a thread. Unfortunately, it never made it past initial plannings.
A young woman witnesses the murder of her father. But what the killer caused is not mourning... at least, not for Dad.

The Vagrant's Little Rich Girl-Written with Nerk. He never came back.
Governor Moore doesn't like the tabloids talking about him or his family. His daughter London, however, loves it- and the added fact it pisses her father off only makes it that much sweeter. In an effort to truly get back at her inattentive dad, she decides to team up with a out of luck former colleague of his that's now living on the streets of New York City, claiming the vagrant man is her new beau to reporters. With cameras everywhere, he insists that if she wants to play, she better make it realistic.

A Strange Inheritance-My first official thread, with OrgasmBandit. He never came back either. Do I suck that much, guys?
A young man inherits his uncle's estate- and his "maid".

*Stands on her toes and peers at her Mask collection buried on one of the shelves*
Well, girls. 40 more posts before I swap to another of you.

I've done it twice now; with every 100 posts, I plan to take a new avatar of a "Mask" Motif.

I'm completely open to suggestions, as finding these buggers is damned hard.

Oh, two wonderful ones! Thank you!
*Puts them up on the shelf*
Play nice with your new sisters, little ones.

I was meandering the net and came across this old snippet from a Home Economics book from the 50's that was trying to teach girls how to be a proper wife.

Parts of it made me laugh... *Peers around to be sure certain eyes aren't peeking* Though a great number of them are things I do myself.

1.Have dinner ready. Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal - on time. This is way of letting him know that you have been thinking about him and are concerned about his needs. Most men are hungry when they come home and the prospects of a good meal are part of the warm welcome needed.

2. Prepare yourself. Take fifteen minutes to rest so you will be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh looking. He has just been with a lof of work-weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting. His boring day may need a lift.

3. Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your husband arrives, gathering up school books, toys, paper etc. Then run a dust cloth over the tables. Your husband will feel he has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too.

4. Prepare the children. Take a few minutes to wash the children's hands and faces if they are small, comb their hair, and if necessary, change their clothes. They are little treasures and he would like to see them playing the part.

5. Minimise the noise. At the time of his arrival, eliminate all noise of washer, dryer or vacuum. Try to encourage the children to be quiet. Greet him with a warm smile and be glad to see him.

6. Make him comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest he lies down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillows and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax and unwind.

7. Listen to him. You may have a dozen things to tell him, but the moment of his arrival is not the time. Let him talk first.

8. Make the evening his. Never complain if he does not take you out to dinner or to other places of entertainment. Instead, try to understand his world of strain and pressure and his need to be home and relax.

9. The goal: Try to make your home a place of peace and order where your husband can relax.

10. Some DONT'S. Don't greet him with problems or complaints. Don't complain if he's late for dinner. Count this as minor compared with what he might have gone through that day. Don’t ask him questions about his actions or question his judgement or integrity. remember he is the master of the house and as such will always excercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him. A good wife always knows her place.

Ah, the good ol' 50's. I don't think I could've lived back then. I wouldn't fit in. On a separate note, of Minx's posted offerings, I think numbers 5 and 7 are definitely 'you' (Or at least the 'you' I picture in my head from my limited knowledge based on posts here and in other threads). On an entirely separate note, I hope I'm not being a nuisance in the castle...

Yes, 1, 5, 6, and 7 are most likely going to end up very quickly added to my pile of editings for future use. (7 is right at the top of that list. I may have to ask Vati which he likes most...)

As for the Castle? Not at all. I apologize for not being more, ah, hospitable at the moment. It's just a bit hard to do that right now, with the whole events downstairs. ;)

No worries about hospitality...I understand you're a bit...hmm...tied up...at present. ;)

Now that I look at it again, I'm fairly certain that came from the same artist that did my current one.
She's good at putting that mask in creative places. :)

Oh dear. I'm going to have to get to work on posting more; I need to get to my next 100's so I can use a new mask... You've all left me some very interesting ones! Between these and what are hidden in my own hard drive, I'm going to be set for quite a time here.

Looks like the thread we were in crashed and burned.

You up for taking on another story sometime?

Sorry about that, Mister Ice.
But yes, I'd be completely up for trying something different. :)

Don't apologize, kid. Group threads have a shelf life.

Let me get home and throw out some concepts. I know you favor the BDSM world. Are you willing to write a story lacking that element?

Well, if you twist my arm-
Oh, wait, you said without that.
;)
I suppose I can do that.

Seems the majority of my threads have trickled to a halt. :(

And ours quit just as we were having fun.

Still arranging concepts. I've one I think you'll like. But it's got a couple other writers I need for it and I'm waiting for word from them.

Otherwise, I might slip in your Castle to play sometime.
