Remember what Lennon said? Whatever gets you through the night, it's alright.
My daughter keeps trying to get me involved in Facebook stuff, but I can't be arsed. Plus every time I go there I get a bunch of friend requests from people from my old high school. And mostly it's people I never hung around with in high school, so I can't imagine why they want to now. But I did recently talk to a woman I was friends with back then who told me she has some poem I wrote about Winnie the Pooh. I asked her to send me a copy cause I can't remember it at all, but I can just imagine how bad it is lol.
There's a lot of of the old Lit (and present) crowd on there and it's great to still be in contact and I've met some lovely new friends through them
One thing I've been spending a lot of time on line with lately is the weather - concerns over tropical in particular. So far so good on the Gulf Coast - most are staying in the Atlantic, and what we've had so far has just been lots of rain.
in my room, about to go to bed
greater london, east side, 'bout a third of the way along (from the city) the Thames out towards Southend. it'd be cool to stay and talk poetry, autumn nights and spooky stuff but i really have to go. i didn't realise the time.

*considers looking for my AlphaZed to see if I'd been in that part of town when I visited ages and ages ago*
Just came across this this morning, so I'm as late as ever...hehehe...I think I was either off at a movie for weekly DateNight or I was playing D&D with some friends...I need, now that school if on again and my time a little less spoken for, to get back into reading and writing on a regular basis.
Mmm...I'll admit missing online chat rooms. You'll have to pass me a URL so I can pop in some Friday or Saturday evening and talk farming (or whatnot) and expand my circle of online acquaintances.

You'll not get in unless you are on AOL but as you are a 'farmboy' too you'd have plenty to talk about! To tell you the truth we often get banned from 'farm talk' lol
Ah, I see...I'd almost forgotten AOL still maintained chat rooms, been so long since I've been on there. I may have to see if my dad ever deleted the screen name I held on his account and drop by if not.
Truth be told there's not all that much I could see to talk about unless you were plotting out Co-op stuff or trying to get people to send you specific items for building and expanding.
I'd really like to find a site where someone had charted out the various growing times versus the money cost for seed and the amount you get paid when it is harvested.

I tried to grow pumpkins this summer, but no female fruit appeared, just the males. Someone sent me gay jack o lantern seeds on amazon.
I might add who is everyone? I see a familiar face here and there, but most of you are new to me.kids are back in school, autumn's upon us, summer vacations are surely done and dusted ... i think you are all buried under duvets, dreaming of mice and marzipan![]()

Is this where the coffee pot is kept? Is that really a 25-year-old Macallan? Who drew the devil horns on that moderator portrait?
I was once a fly in the ointment, here, but in the intervening years I have misplaced my password.
