Let's talk about China. Conservatives seem to love the Chinese economic system, with no regulations to speak of. Except they also have no human rights. Thousands of bodies of infant girls have been found, since they are worthless economically.

I think a few of you are very confused. I WOULD NOT support the burning of the Koran. It's stupid, idiotic, accomplishes nothing other than pissing off a section of the world population, which could lead to more deaths for our servicemen & women.

HOWEVER I would support anyones right to do so. The two are distinctly different issues.

It's a free speech right. But so is my opinion that those who do are low life, dip shit, dumb asses. Holding one or the other view doesn't cancel the rights held by either party.

If you want true freedom, all must possess it and be free to use it, whether one likes the outcome or not.

Hell yeah, I think it should be burned every single day. Maybe not for the reasons you might think, but yes, HELL YEAH I DO. I may burn one myself tonight in the fire place not because I have any issue with Muslims, but because that is part of my right as a FREE AMERICAN.

Here's the key point: if we allow Hollywood Big Entertainment to put cursing and vulgarity into entertainment that is CONSTANTLY played for children and mixed audiences 24/7 why the hell not burn the Koran or anything else, it pales in comparison to the burning of our culture and civilization by Hollywood that NOBODY any longer seems concerned about at all.

Just last night I was at a club that was playing some techno song that periodically interject the word "bitch" for no reason in the middle of the song. There were no other lyrics. This is obviously just one example of the literal ocean of moral filth in the MAINSTREAM entertainment industry that our "culture" is subjected to incessantly. This should be a much bigger concern to people than what a single individual or small group of individuals do to exercise their right to POLITICAL expression through symbolic speech.

I support the rights of ORDINARY PEOPLE to POLITICAL expression in nearly all forms, subject to appropriate and MINIMAL time and place restrictions far more than the "right" of big entertainment to pervert our children.

That is why I also strongly defend the right of flag burning as well as any holy books or anything else as long as their is no risk to humans or animals safety or fire danger.
