Rejected story - help please

I don't know how to contact the editor of my story, to clear this up and get it posted. First, I got a window re posting in the wrong file format, I submitted it through MS Word as a .doc file so can't understand why I got the message. I thought .doc and .rtf were both okay.
Next problem, I'm told to submit chapter 3 & 4 before my latest submission Chapter 5 can be approved. I have, on the 18/8, but whoever the editor was changed it to "part 2 ", I never title my story chapters with Part XX, only ever as chapters, so whoever changed that, has confused the situation, Chapters 3 & 4 have been approved and posted, (and 5 is pending). I have sent two emails regarding this and not received any reply, so I'm hoping somebody will read this and sort out my problem. The story in question is Christina's Journey. Thanks to anyone who can help.

PM Laurel. She's the owner. Explain in detail the problem. You can find her on contest announcement threads, stickies, etc. E-mails don't get replies but a PM will. Specify the order of the chapters as they need to be and when you submitted them. The more information you can give her the easier it will be for her to help you.

The rejected chapter gives a reason for the rejection as well. Include that too.

You can ask about the Part/Chapter confusion as well.

Please ensure that you have switched on your Private Messages. Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

Yeah, uh, would love to help but I don't know how. Maybe contacting Laurel or Manu might be the best bet.

First off, do what MistressLynn says. I just wanted to comment that once I posted a chapter and got the same response/similar response to my .doc, too. Sometimes the files don't transfer properly and it comes in as garbled text. I resubmitted (exactly the same way) and it posted. Your problem could be as simple as that, regarding that particular situation, so don't get too stressed over that detail.
