You and I, on this very forum, have read rants not unlike the above; Posted by seemingly sincere individuals concerned with 'saving the earth'.

I used to pose the question to all the Liberal/Progressives here: "Why do you hate mankind so much?"

They declined to answer, but the mentally impaired Lefty who wrote the above Manifesto, not only answered, he acted out the debilitating philosophy that many adhere to and advocate.

The future of mankind is in fact, in your hands. Your ideas, your philosophies, your ethical and moral systems will be passed on to the next generation. Do you want them to inherit a hatred for the works of man and man himself?

If you really feel that way....I have a suggestion as to how you can reduce the population by one, at least....:)

Sept. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Petroleo Brasileiro SA, Latin America’s largest company by market value, agreed to pay Brazil $42.5 billion in new stock for the right to develop 5 billion barrels of offshore oil reserves. The shares gained.

Petrobras, as the state-run company is known, will pay an average of $8.51 a barrel for the oil after almost two weeks of negotiations with the government, according to a regulatory filing yesterday. More than half the oil will come from the Franco field in the offshore Santos Basin, the company said...

...The value set for the reserves will determine how much new stock Petrobras must offer minority investors in a related public offering to raise funds for a $224 billion plan to develop offshore fields and boost refinery capacity. Petrobras has plunged 26 percent in Sao Paulo this year on concern it would pay more for the oil than it’s worth, diluting earnings.

The price is more than the $7.50 per barrel estimated by UBS AG analyst Lilyanna Yang and Ted Harper, who helps manage about $6.8 billion at Frost Investment Advisors in Houston. A price of $7.50 a barrel or higher would force Petrobras to sell more shares to the government than investors expect and dilute earnings, Yang said in an Aug. 11 report.

‘At High End’
The price is “certainly at the high end” of what investors and analysts were expecting, said Gianna Bern, president of Brookshire Advisory & Research Inc., based near Chicago. “Market conditions right now are less than desirable, but Petrobras has a good long-term growth story.”

Petrobras rose 79 centavos, or 2.9 percent, to 27.82 reais as of 10:25 a.m. in Sao Paulo trading, after gaining 3.7 percent yesterday. The shares have declined about 24 percent this year.

High Price
Haroldo Lima, head of the Brazilian oil regulator known as the ANP, said in an Aug. 12 interview that $8 a barrel would be a “reasonable price” for the reserves.

About 3.1 billion barrels of the reserves will come from Franco, Petrobras said in yesterday’s statement, while the Iara and Florim fields will account for another 1.07 billion. Petrobras, based in Rio de Janeiro, will also receive the rights to oil at Tupi Northeast and Sul and Guara East fields.

Maintaining Stakes

At the time of the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, usually placed somewhere around 1850, the human population of the earth was approximately one billion.

Through the marvels of the industrial age and the onset of market capitalism, production soared, lifespans lengthened and in July of 2011, the earth celebrated the birth of the seven billionth new human life.

While the alleged advocates of reason oppose “system-building” and haggle apologetically over concrete-bound words or mystically floating abstractions, its enemies seem to know that integration is the psycho-epistemological key to reason, that art is man’s psycho-epistemological conditioner, and that if reason is to be destroyed, it is man’s integrating capacity that has to be destroyed.

It is highly doubtful that the practitioners and admirers of modern art have the intellectual capacity to understand its philosophical meaning; all they need to do is indulge the worst of their subconscious premises. But their leaders do understand the issue consciously: the father of modern art is Immanuel Kant (see his Critique of Judgment).

I do not know which is worse: to practice modern art as a colossal fraud or to do it sincerely.

Those who do not wish to be the passive, silent victims of frauds of this kind, can learn from modern art the practical importance of philosophy, and the consequences of philosophical default. Specifically, it is the destruction of logic that disarmed the victims, and, more specifically, the destruction of definitions. Definitions are the guardians of rationality, the first line of defense against the chaos of mental disintegration.

Works of art—like everything else in the universe—are entities of a specific nature: the concept requires a definition by their essential characteristics, which distinguish them from all other existing entities. The genus of art works is: man-made objects which present a selective recreation of reality according to the artist’s metaphysical value-judgments, by means of a specific material medium. The species are the works of the various branches of art, defined by the particular media which they employ and which indicate their relation to the various elements of man’s cognitive faculty.

Man’s need of precise definitions rests on the Law of Identity: A is A, a thing is itself. A work of art is a specific entity which possesses a specific nature. If it does not, it is not a work of art. If it is merely a material object, it belongs to some category of material objects—and if it does not belong to any particular category, it belongs to the one reserved for such phenomena: junk.

“Something made by an artist” is not a definition of art. A beard and a vacant stare are not the defining characteristics of an artist.

“Something in a frame hung on a wall” is not a definition of painting.

“Something with a number of pages in a binding” is not a definition of literature.

“Something piled together” is not a definition of sculpture.“Something made of sounds produced by anything” is not a definition of music.

“Something glued on a flat surface” is not a definition of any art.There is no art that uses glue as a medium. Blades of grass glued on a sheet of paper to represent grass might be good occupational therapy for retarded children—though I doubt it—but it is not art.

“Because I felt like it” is not a definition or validation of anything.

There is no place for whim in any human activity—if it is to be regarded as human. There is no place for the unknowable, the unintelligible, the undefinable, the non-objective in any human product. This side of an insane asylum, the actions of a human being are motivated by a conscious purpose; when they are not, they are of no interest to anyone outside a psychotherapist’s office. And when the practitioners of modern art declare that they don’t know what they are doing or what makes them do it, we should take their word for it and give them no further consideration.

James J. Lee, the 43 year old gunman who held at least 3 people hostage at the Discovery Communications building in Silver Spring, Md has been shot and killed by police. So who exactly is James J. Lee?

He Has Protested At Discovery Communications Before

James J. Lee runs and organization called Save The Planet Protest and has protested at the Discovery Communications Building. Earlier this week he was arrested for littering and disorderly conduct. The littering charge may have stemmed from Lee reportedly throwing money at people on the street to get them to gather around his protest site.

Claims the ‘World Does Not Need Humans’

That which you chose to display illustrates degradation, aberrant,anti social themes and a view of the mass of humanity into meaningless confusion, all of which indicates a very disturbed mind.

Not that I think you can be cured or helped, but for others who look on in amusement at your concept of art and mine, by the Venus de Milo photo, I offer the following definition of art:

Just to remind you of that which you do not wish to be reminded of; the silly and dangerous anti human, anti man campaign of the liberal/progressive lot that led to this outbreak of insanity.

Something in the air hints at an intense change as Americans finally begin to reject the litany of the left. One can thank Hussein Obama for that, it is not his race but his ideology that is being rejected, lock, stock and barrel by caring Americans.
