Longtime Dallas congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson has awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to four relatives and a top aide's two children since 2005, using foundation funds set aside for black lawmakers' causes.
Eddie Bernice Johnson

The recipients were ineligible under anti-nepotism rules of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, which provided the money. And all of the awards violated a foundation requirement that scholarship winners live or study in a caucus member's district.

Yeah, but he didn't know that giving away foundation money to his relatives was against the law.

lol...

Wasn't there a thread about this dude already?

Even worse is a press that refuses to report on it until everyone has already noticed, unlike the Republican Corruption that they looked for under every frozen stone in Wassilla...

Democrats have problems with rules.

They're just giving away other people's money to their favorite causes...that's what they do. Now and then they find it shocking that there are some standards and rules when it comes to giving away other people's money.

Johnson, a Democrat, denied any favoritism when asked about the scholarships last week. Two days later, she acknowledged in a statement released by her office that she had violated the rules but said she had done so "unknowingly" and would work with the foundation to "rectify the financial situation."

I posted it to a thread...

I remember the cartoon of Bill Clinton throwing open the doors of the White House to a horde hairy hogs stampeding up up the staircases, that cartoonist had no clue about what was to come.:D

fiscal responsibility?

Not what you're into, huh?

What's funny is seeing someone who calls himself "Richard Daily" posting in a Democrat corruption thread.

Typical democrat operating model. High taxes for personal benefit.
