I'm sorry for posting this twice, but I'm really upset!

I find that someone calling themselves Bill Tom has stolen my story http://www.literotica.com/stories/sh....php?id=491352 and published it on a very filthy site called Sex stories.
I'm shocked and apalled that this can happen.

If anyone knows any way for me to get it removed I'd be so happy! The link is http://orz8.appspot.com/cms/cms/show_article/1481022.html Please help! I have so far not been able to find that there's a moderator on that website.

It makes me sick to my stomach that someone would do this even though it's easy on the internet today.

Looking around at it makes me notice alot of stolen stories in several categories. If anyone has any idea how to get hold of the site's owner I'd be very happy.

Prejudice. I just checked and it looks like the page is removed already!

This comes up about once a month it seems. If you do as Bronzeage said and PM Manu and Laurel they are great about taking these down fast. Good luck

Thanks! I've sent one to Laurel, but I'll send one to Manu aswell now :)
Won't get any sleep tonight, I'm afraid!

This site is unreal! All the summer lovin entries are there credited as far as I can see to Bill Tom. They merely copy/pasted the whole thing - author's notes and everything. Since mine is there as well I am PM Laurel as well.

If you go to "Home" you find more people having added comments about their work being on there.

It looks like they have most of August entries including audio and today's releases. Good job catching this Prejudice. Literotica usually takes care of these things very quickly.

I sure hope so.

I'm glad I decided to google "ruby studded riding crop" to see if it actually existed.

I hope this is taken care of fast. Makes my skin crawl to see my beautiful story misused on what is merely a pornsite.

I shall head off to bed now and hope to get some sleep. I'll be worried sick though...

Sorry, Prujudice, but the Internet is a freewheeling sieve. If you can't sleep nights because a story you've posted to a open, free-use Internet site was reposted to another site, you really should consider not posting your stories to the Internet. If you are in the United States, unless you hold a formal copyright on the story, you really have no legal proof of ownership anyway.

I would suggest that other authors check this site and report them for unauthorized use of your works. My heart doesn't break, I'm just annoyed that it was swiped. I went ahead and deleted my "pending" submissions until I can figure out if I am okay with my stuff being posted in places I am unaware of...

If you delete your pending works and wait to see where else it'll pop up, you'll never post stories here. This isn't the first time it's happened and it won't be the last.

Unfortunately, the pilot's right. About all we can do is report it to Laurel. She'll work to have it removed, but there'll be another site tomorrow or next week that does the same thing.

Good work on catching the theft of stories...and publicizing it for others...

I make note of this because no one else will:

I hope this is taken care of fast. Makes my skin crawl to see my beautiful story misused on what is merely a pornsite.

For those who insist on calling Literotica a 'pornsite', take heed and be aware that the things you say and do, come back to you...in many ways.

Amicus

This ("don't call this a porn site") posted by the man (amicus) who writes pedophilia and almost got his publisher (and all of the publisher's other authors' works) thrown off the Fictionwise distribution site because of the content of his books?

Thank you for the info on this site, everyone! :)

Because the actual publisher hasn't listed his/her contact info, it looks like the two points of contact for this site would be Google (hosting) and AdBrite (advertising). Those contacts are listed here:

http://code.google.com/projecthosting/terms.html
On that page, they list an emaill address for reporting violations to their hosting TOS. Please be respectful to Google as they have no idea that this site exists and once they know, hopefully they will remove the site and ban the user.

As far as AdBrite, the company with the ads on top of the pages, their contact form is here:
https://www.blacklabelads.com/mb/email_support.php

We are contacting both parties, of course, but if you have seen one of your stories on this site, it probably wouldn't hurt if you let them know about it as well.

Too bad these people feel it's ok to steal!
