So is Fox News going to put a little disclaimer on the bottom of the screen, stating that they're an official Republican shill organization now?

This is unethical to the extreme and completely unprecidented in journalism. America has simply never seen anything like it.

This is how Russia works though. "Independent" media outlets there slant heavily towards one party, publish their propaganda, recruit for their rallies, and fund political campaigns. Now Fox News and the Russian media are virtually identical.

They had the single largest donation to the Republican Goveroner's Association.

NBC parent GE donates $1,097,423 to Democrats in 2010. Oh noes!!!! The horror!!!

Democrats have twice the money Republicans have. But since most of it came from union members who were forced to donate, it's ok. Right?

Link?

And how much did they donate to the GOP?

Were waiting.

GE also gave $851,000 to Republicans. Considering the masses of Democratic incumbents, that's a pretty even balance. Meanwhile Fox's parent company gave a miniscule $78k to Democrats to balance out their $1,000,000 to the GOP.

Why would you even make such a ridiculous comparison? Just more lying spin from you...

So you chose to slant your post and not tell us that GE donated 800,000 to republicans.

Got it.

I was comparing apples to apples. If a million from news corp to Republicans is bad, then isn't a million to Democrats also bad?

Personally, I'm all for corporations funding political efforts. The alternative is for the tax payers to do it, and we pay for enough bullshit. As long as there's no quid pro quo, I don't see a problem with it.

Because he's fair and balanced.

It's not the amount. It's the division of the amount and the hypocrisy of Newscorp to claim it's fair and balanced.

YOU were the one implying that a million dollars buys influence. I was merely showing the Democrats get the same amount from their news organizations.

Why aren't you outraged over forced donations to Democrats by union members?

Why are you trying to change the subject?

The facts are that GE gives to both parties.

Newscorp. Not so much.

What you also refuse to realize (probably because your Republican overlords tell you not to), is that while GE owns NBC, it's not a news entity. GE does a ridiculously huge number of things.

In comparison, Fox News' parent company is News Corp and is a news company through and through.

Why are you a hypocrite?

A million dollars from News Corp to Republicans is bad but a million dollars from GE to Democrats is ok. Gotcha

Sure......political donations are legal. The point is, and was, that Newscorp gives to the GOP only. GE gives to both parties.

Deal with it.

Well not exactly. I don't consider Fox.....News.

Well, I'm not about to get dragged into a "my side is great, your side sucks" lit discussion. I'm as apolitical as they come, have never donated to any party and have been registered as "unaffiliated" for 20 years. So carry on.

Did you not just read where he posted that GE also gave a nearly identical amount to Republicans?

While News Corp gave almost nothing to the other side?

the point is they sent 800k to the republicans, meaning they only sent a net 200k to the democrats. Therefore you fail.
On topic: This just shows you that news corp is a communications arm of the GOP and is sending back profits to the parent company. Youd think the rightists would have a problem with an Australian (foreigner) giving them their news output/opinions.

Ya gotta admit, JohnnySavage does a damn good impression of FOXNews.

Do Ann Coulter next!

I always wonder if these people that claim to be sitting on the fence politically have a sore ass or not.
