Thats the way, Redgrave likes a good game, if Talon ever forced his hand and made him revolt he'd just give up out of bordom.
It would work though, she'd be enough of an ammusment that by the end he would just forget not to pay Talon.

When people live so long their bound to pick up eccentricities of some kind, so yeah, the only sane people in my mind would be the humans.

Sanity is an overated virtue. Eccentricity is much more interesting both to read and to write.
And age isn't indicative of how sane or insane you are, everyone is crazy to one degree or another regardless of how many years you've seen.
The humans may be less eccentric individually but they're just as crazy as any of our characters when lumped together in groups.

I think I would argue that a group is always exponentially less inhibited than a single actor, no matter how batfuck crazy the single actor is. Group dynamics let inappropriate decisions and rewritten norms snowball much more quickly than even the most unhinged but unreinforced individual.

OK everyone
Before we just blindly start I think a loose plot should be discussed, just so we don't all pile up on one writer and get stalled... there's plotting going on and that's great, but we can't count on one or two writers to lead the entire group...
So toss them out, spit em up, get a direction so we can all have fun TOGETHER!!!!
I'll work out the first post, Sweet will be next... lets get it going and everyone working together before we do. OK???
