Self-objectification

Alright all you mostly heterosexual male viewers of my thread... I recently met someone who was willing to model for me for photographs so I am going to be posting some of the shots I took today. The model is male. The photos aren't very explicit. Ok, that's all for the preface. Hope everyone enjoys! (Constructive feedback would be appreciated) :)

You'll be the first to know! ;)

I've missed you, hope you've been well!

Looks like you did a great job. Love the colors. Last one is my favorite.

Thank you! If you have any suggestions, feel free to pm.

Thank you sir photographer, I'm pleased to have gotten your approval.

These are quite evocative! The first is probably my favorite. The composition is balanced, but there's a certain tension in it that I find appealing. Perhaps it is an interesting juxtaposition of his obvious masculinity with a certain softness, or fragility.

I might have turned the camera just a little to line up the edge of the bed(?) on the left with the edge of the frame, or eliminated the wall entirely. That's not a 'right or wrong' thing... Just my personal taste.

Anyway, they're all great!

Thanks for sharing!

I loved the last one......very cool shot, well done beautiful xxxxx

Thanks for your input! I can agree with you on the angle of the photo but I kind of liked the slightly raw aspect of it, and the texture of the wall. I can always count on you for awesome feedback, thanks babe!

Thanks! I'll be putting up a few more shortly, I believe there are a few more back ones to be displayed. :)

i know i should offer some comment on the content of these photos - you did a nice job, he is an interesting subject, (both true) that sort of thing - but really, i just can't stop imagining what was happening on the OTHER side of the camera.

if one was to look up "lucky" in the dictionary, one might find a picture (one of these?) of this fine fellow.

On MY side of the camera..I was mostly quiet and a smidge nervous lol I've never had the chance to photograph someone else so intimately. It was a great experience!

As for the lucky part..you can model for me whenever you're in my vicinity again :D In fact, now you have to. Erm...after you check with your gf..

Great shots. My favorite is the last shot, 1st batch....ill head to the back of the line for the models, but I'm not typical model material....lil bit of a beer belly and too much ink on my skin.(not enough ink if you ask me)

Oh pft..I do not enjoy cookie cutter models, I'm positive you would make for a fine subject :)

I returned to that place where we had existed.
Where our bodies left imprints and the water remembers the wake of our passing. The moon bathed us, reaching every crevice and pore on our bodies while our fingertips tried to memorize the lesson. Cool flesh the ladder between stars and sand, souls outstretched and reaching for the memories that were. Living, breathing memories composed of sunlight and stardust.
I returned to that place where we ceased to exist.
Where footprint patterns of spontaneity transitioned into routines. The waves more philosophical than we could ever have hoped to be. Delicate grass growing roots deeper than we were willing to make ours. The landscape holds our secrets as covetously as we once held each other.

Not sure how I feel about the second portion buuuut there it is!

Hope everyone is doing wonderfully!

Hello WaterGirl :kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss:

I just bought a hoard of India Ink! Here is a little doodle from the past 2 minutes. And no, I do not pay attention to when the piece of paper ends.
