Christmas In July!

Chrsitmas in July, huh?

Does that mean we can have Hannukah in August? :D;)

I just love all the animals singing Deck the Halls...precious.

Super funny and cute, huh?

I'll bring some mistletoe!

I think you should let us know whose head you're hanging that over, first, cowboy. ;)

Oooh yeah! That would be so much fun! I don't know anything about Hanukkah so it'll be a great opportunity to learn and have a good time!

And if I make a dreidel out of clay, I could post it both here and in the "crafty litsters" thread.... hehe. :D

my husband gave it to me....i am guessing it's a token of his gratitude for all many years of love and support during his military career - he just retired from the Army. Seriously, though, I needed a laptop and he said he found a good deal on it. I was very very happy!

Score for you! Hi5^!

This is an awesome week. Both girls are at camp. He got confirmation on the job he was after. I've been able to spend nearly the whole day naked...it's so amazing to just be naked all day!

It's so cozy, isn't it? I used to love being naked before I had the baby, now I have to be in clothes 24/7 and miss it.

yes, the baby kind of puts a crimp on all that, hence my joy at both girls being away at camp this week.

And a small baby - yikes, I would jump from shower into my clothes, both my kids saw boobs and they must have sounded like dinner bells.

I'm pregnant again so I dried up like two months ago. No more breastfeeding for Brooke, she went on strike due to flavor change.

I was not a happy mama for a few weeks. The engorgement phase was balls.

how horrible, I'm so sorry about that. I can't even imagine! The first one was only on naptime nursing when she self-weaned at 18 months but the youngest (now 8) would be nursing still. I"m not kidding. I had the hardest time weaning her and I waited until she was almost three. I just couldn't hack it any more - and I needed a breast reduction so bad. For about a year when she saw a nursing baby she would drool LOL

OMG really? haha!!

Thank you, and Thank you!

I'm several months along now. I didn't announce it because there had been some...concerns, you know? And I didn't want to have to explain myself in case anything happened to the baby. :(

Back to the regularly scheduled Christmasing!

The Ugly Christmas Sweater Party is becoming somewhat popular these days, thanks in most part due to the extraordinarily ugly Christmas sweaters that people tend to collect over the years.

One of the recipes on that website is called "Santa Shooters", which is equal parts Butterscotch Schnapps, Amaretto, and Chocolate Liquor. Sounds deelish!
