Anyone planning to go to the Dodge Poetry Festival this October?

ETA this is a wonderful festival if you are able to get to New Jersey; some really amazing poets (most of the American Laureates and some poets from overseas) come to read. It's like Woodstock for poetry.

Yeah. I like her for her novel subject matter but also because she's a really engaging poet who can take these sort of daunting subjects and make them beautiful.

Here's one you might find more appealing (Simon Armitage) also reading at the 2008 Dodge Poetry Festival. To find more, go to youtube and search Dodge Poetry and you'll be able to listen to many of the amazing poets who came last time.

Yeah. I'm sort of sad that it's moving indoors this year, rather than in the tented village it had been, but it will still be wonderful. I encourage anyone who is in the area to attend. Are you going, Jacob?

Too far away, sorry. Sounds delicious. Enjoy yourself, though.
