So it's just a normal day in the Bool, give it 5 minutes & it will change. We used to go down for the speedway & get sunburnt & then catch the flu all in one day.
most definitely!
morning all![]()
thank youI was starting to think it was me as they were all telling me it was:
A bit harsh even though the suns out today
Hi all, hope you have a great day while I clean up after 3 teenagers that have been home all week. I trained my dog to do sit, stay, fetch, shit in one place all that sort of stuff but the kids can't even put their clothes in the wash.
are dogs smarter than teenagers?
heh - my teen daughter has decided that at 15, she's ready to live on her own and has moved out.
she's making a LOT of bad choices now.... not a lot i can do to stop her (especially as she's run from me before, and has been living with her dad for the last 9 mths)
i guess i can only sit back and wait for the BIG FALL, and then do what i can to help.
i'm rapidly becoming a devotee of the theory that teen brains shut down certain sections for a few years![]()
Bad news WQ, my daughter is in her early 30s & is still making huge mistakes that worry the hell out of me.
Okay Aussies I have a question I have been wondering about for a while now.
Why is it when men want to do something with their mates for the weekend they always say (and in front of mates and usually with a beer in hand) "Can .... get a weekend pass for next weekend?"
What the fuck does that mean? Why do they put it like that, like they have to ask permission and why the need for mates to be beside them?
Now my immediate urge is to punch the stupid fucking smirk right off their faces for what I view as a smartarse attitude towards me but I manage to get out a somewhat normal response of "if he wants to"
And while I am on the subject, why is it women never get to have a 'weekend pass' unless they take their children with them? WTF!!!
Guess that was 2 questions huh.![]()

heh - with HIM away for 4 weeks and home for 4 weeks, i get a months worth of weekend passes without having to ask!
mind you, i pay back in kind.... when HE's home, we do what HE'd like for those 4 weekends
it's actually working well for us.
perhaps you could shock the shite out of them by saying 'NO'!
just to see what happens![]()
