The con, serving five years for fraud and drug offences, recovered fully in the jail's medical centre.

It was believed that adders, Britain's only venomous snake, have been climbing the sloped walls of the prison to bask in the sunshine.

It's not really all that good. The first sentence has a grammatical error. The last sentence should probably be "It is.." assuming this is the current belief.
