I always thought it was full of really expensive products that you could only sell in the richer neighborhoods. But I had a look through and I could replace my entire make up collection for under $50.00 with their product deals, and I could try something that apparently does the same as proactive but for only $40.00 not $69.95.

Not sure if the products compared in quality, but I'll be trying it out.

Now I just have to stop myself from buying heaps of cheap lip gloss or pocket deodorants.

XD

Yes I was-not hard when I thought about it.

Excellent advice here AB. Slow and steady does it. Going too far and too hard too early causes injuries-trust me I know!
Besides-you're already one of the sexiest looking women I know!

BANDIT:heart: & I second you on this.:D

So apparently I now sell Avon products. I never thought I would considering I wouldn't spend the money they are asking on the products they sell.

I will have to be smart.

Anyone interested in buying some, lol.

I'm interested in body lotion but will also need some practical demonstrations to be sure BANDIT:hearts:

To my thinking that avon & tupperware wouldn't still be around if their products were crap & both companies have been around for a lot of years.

Tupperware is pretty expensive, but it last lifetimes, so anyone who has the cash would be interested I would think. And the same with Avon, and since you can get say, mascara, eye shadow and eye liner for $20.00, I should be okay.

From what I was told, I don't owe any money if I don't sell anything, just if people don't pay for what they ordered.

And I need a bit of extra cash. I just finished explaining to my husband why I can't let him buy smokes. We only have around $55, and 20 will be for fuel since my car is almost empty, 30 will be for the basics in food, and the rest I'm hoping we'll have left over. Because 30 is nothing really when you need a fortnight of grocery's.

I prevailed though.

You ever have a buffalo walk through your campsite and fart!
I guess it could have been worse if he left a gift. :)

Hey there!

I'm back to Lit and trying to remain here for an extended period of time. I get distracted easily though.

....and I'll just wait for others responses to the buffalo...

this is actually a sore point with me.... i do not advocate allowing babies to sail solo.
they just don't have the skill, knowledge or strength to deal with what the sea can throw at us!

and there is absolutely no way i am ever going to believe that young jess did the trip entirely alone either - at the very least she would have had to have food drops, in which case she wasn't 'solo'.

I didn't like it either. I have just started allowing my 16 year old daughter to go to the shops on her own!!
Oh, hello fellow Australians, I am new and just found the Aussie thread. I am Female, very happily married and live in a suburb of Melbourne.

well that's what happen when you have a little nap in the evening you end up staying up all night :D

winter has finally hit!
rain, wind, sleet, snow, and black ice on the roads.
it's all fun for the next 8 weeks or so..... mind you, i can't complain - the days have been absolutely gorgeous (zero at night and up to 14 during the days).

HE came back, expecting the weather to be as lovely as it was when we talked on the phone.... only to have storms and top temps of 8 to 9 deg!
(still not complaining - this is great cuddling weather! )

LOL sounds like when BANDIT:heart: rings NZ & finds out how crap the weather is there & I comment "WHY do people live there?"

Could be worst you could be in Canberra!

Not a good day for me today as will be hooked up to my Dialysis machine for 12 hours  but it has to be done. :(
