If, by environment, you mean the ocean, then yes. Even if they don't, I wasn't striving for a factual linguistic construct. I saw what I wrote as more poetical than factual. Creative license abounded. I was painting a word picture, if you like. Can't you see the penguins drawing squid tentacles?

Frankly, I always thought that drawing straws was a bore. Drawing those stick pretzels seems much more sensible. You can do the draw, then eat the results.

I suppose you could do the same with pasta, carrots, celery, or any other long thin foods.
 
Mascara? Maybe so but I Believe it was simply the shade of blue..it appealed to me and the way you were stretched across the bed showed a sense of tension release ...very relaxing

By environment I meant ocean as pertaining to location based on criteria such as temperature of water and depth. But let the creative license abound forthwith.. :)

Thank you :) my eyes are that color when looking into direct light, otherwise they're usually a bit more blue/green

The person who designed the garment. Apparently these things are supposed to be on the feminine side. Less frills, more thrills..please :)
