It's down from 3.13 to 2.93. That's with Obama hating oil and an active oil spill. I mean it should happen. I wouldn't even blink an eye if it went up say a quarter back to where it was when thsi shit STARTED but that's not what's happeneing.

Poor Litbertarian America-hating AJ will be very cross in the morning....the stock market closed at it's third highest gain for the year today.

Grim times for the Tea Partisans.

And Harry Reid has reclaimed the lead (hey that rhymes!) in Nevada, after being pronounced dead earlier this year.

Grim, grim times.

I was wondering that myself. I took a long road trip last week, and gas prices had dropped 20 cents in the 3 weeks since my previous trip.

The question is, why isn't it?

Any time the markets expect for economies to heat up, I mean, since part of the orthodoxy of the Left is that we're running out of oil, the price is bid up on speculation...

So, we have to assumed that people who are buying the futures are bearish on the economy.

;) ;)

This is absolutely hysterical.

She's Obama's economic adviser. She's directing the economic policy of the United States.

Bullshit...

She's his puppet. We know he's a Manchu...

The lie at the heart of loonies' mantra on taxes -- "tax increases only for the rich" -- is the ineluctable fact that unless taxes are raised across the board, the government won't get its money to fund layers and layers of useless government bureaucrats, none of whom can possibly be laid off.

How much would you have to raise taxes before any of Obama's constituents noticed? They don't pay taxes, they engage in "tax-reduction" strategies, they're on the take, they work for the government, or they're too rich to care. (Or they have off-shore tax shelters, like George Soros, Jeffrey R. Immelt, General Electric and MSNBC.)

The Democrats' modus operandi is to lead voters to believe they are no more likely to raise taxes than Republicans. Then they get elected and immediately raise taxes. Those people who actually pay taxes consider this a bad idea.

The Democrats have an admiration for raising taxes on the productive. All Democrats for the last 30 years have tried to stimulate the economy by giving "tax cuts" to people who don't pay taxes. Evidently, because offering to expand welfare payments isn't a big vote-getter.

News of 411,000 census jobs, 41,000 in the private sector jobs, tanks market opening. Futures indicating 200 point open to the downside. Obama's in charge.

Strange they don't mention the job losses on the Gulf Coast.

Oh, I wouldn't dare take your man away from you, Becks.

Besides, I'd just stretch him out and that would ruin things for your significantly smaller peen. :D

Ain't worried, I figure you to be more of a " catcher"....

My bat's too good — and too big — to play your position. 'Sides, I heard you like being on your knees squatting down and it'd be poor sportsmanship for me to deprive you of where you belong best. ;)

Soon the FTC will reinvent journalism and you won't see these nasty gloom and doom threads.
