They are just regular MP3 files. You will also get one pop up advertising window (annoying, but fortunately it's just the one and easily closed). Let me know if you still can't get it to work.

Speaking for myself only, of course, I very rarely record stories that other people have written. Most of mine are my own fantasies recorded off the top of the head. However, if a story catches my eye, I certainly would consider it.

While we're here, RavenFox, and for the public record, what made you get into personalized audio?

I really got into (and off on) the two audios I put up (Robbie Lite and Dancing With You) and I was loving the attention. I got an email from a fan and he asked if I would consider letting him hire me to do a story that he had in mind. I told him I had no idea what to even charge for such a service, but said I'd do the research and get back to him. I spoke to a friend of mine and he directed me to a couple of websites that were doing erotic audio, but nothing personalized. I figured that was a niche that I could fill.

Incidently, the prices those other sites were charging...$50 for ten minutes as one example! I was shocked. My husband says I've got my stuff underpriced, but I do alright with it. I just have so much fun doing the stories, it doesn't feel like work!

Makes sense to me. Given what I found on the market, your prices are certainly competitive. I'm glad your enjoyment lowers the cost; certainly brings more business your way for anybody who bothers looking. Ever consider M/F audio with your husband? There doesn't seem to be as much of that available.

As to the technical issues, there are some voice over IP programs such as TeamSpeak or Ventrilo which enable you to record the networked conversations rather than one sender at a time; this may do the trick. It would eliminate the problem of track-mixing; if your internet connection is strong enough and the right codec selected, there shouldn't be a significant loss - if any - in audio quality.

Incidently...how's your voice?

They're pretty lightweight programs; unfortunately they both distinguish between dedicated and client side hosting and client hosting is not possible: which means you'll have to set up a server yourself to use them. Fortunately, I have access to a number of Ventrilo servers, one of which is almost never used save for myself and a handful of others. If you get yourself set up on 'Vent' you can PM me anytime and I will send you the details for said server.

As to my voice, well... I've not had any complaints but I'm certainly Canadian, which seems to really amuse some American girls. "Ooo, say car again." I also speak some Russian and can probably dust off my French, Finnish, German, and if I get some tongue-yoga in, Dutch. Favourite tricks include nipping earlobes and muttering/whispering quiet Russian in ears and translating in the other one after kissing my way from opposite shoulder to jaw, up the line of their neck. Again: No complaints.
