I think those with proclivities for erotic audio need a spot in Authors' Hangout. I came to this conclusion when I was desperately looking for a way to procrastinate. :D

My first love will always be audio stories here on Lit. We never outgrow the desire to be told a story, even when we become fully developed perverted adults! There is something relaxing and soothing about just closing your eyes and taking in the sound of a voice telling you a tale, letting your own imagination fly to fill in all the gaps. There is also something innately exciting about hearing someone tell you that tale while they are caught up in it's sexual aspects. The shaky voice, the wet sounds, the moans, and even the losing track of where they are in the story are all beautiful parts of the erotic audio experience. I enjoy creating audios, not ONLY because I get a satisfying orgasm or two out of the deal, but because I am aroused by the thought of others getting off to me getting off.

Do I ever listen to my own stories for inspiration and arousal? You better believe it. I'm hot and I know it. I sound amazing when I cum. I love the slow build up and I never just "skip to the good parts." But there are a few on Lit that get the creative juices flowing for me as well.

So, in my opening post in my new, hopefully ongoing thread about audio, I am mentioning two of my aural lovers that never fail to excite and entice me.

First, my mentor. He inspired me to record my first Lit story, Robbie Lite. I even mention him in the story. It's SomeAussieGuy! This hot Australian has just the right timber in his voice to vibrate all the right spots! He also has a real plot to his audios. He is a true storyteller. Though we fell out of touch some time ago, he was very helpful in getting me started and I still think he's awesome.

Secondly, the sensual sounds of Madame Voyce herself, WickedVoyce! She only has two audios on Literotica, yet she is one of the highest rated Audio contributors ever. She's just that good. No trilly baby talk or nasal utterings, this woman's voice is a rich velvet that sets me all aflutter. She doesn't seem to be around much anymore and it appears her website closed down, but she will forever remain on my favorites list.

So, I hope this thread turns into a place were people stop by and relax a while, give their thoughts on Audio stories and such, and share their love of sound. Feel free to stop by and say hello, but please no trolling. I don't want to get involved in drama. Post music that inspires you, review audio contributors that interest you, post your favorite acousticophilia links...and I thank you for visiting my thread.

Rubbish!

Ozzie and sexy is an oxymoron; your typical Ozzie bleats like a goat whose balls are compressed in a vise. But their women like it, like flies relish fresh dung.

Well, thanks for contributing your opinion, but I'm going to keep mine as is, just the same.

Are there any accents you enjoy listening to?

At first glance, I thought your reply was mentioning Ozzy Osbourne. I was about to tell you that I ADORE Ozzy's voice. It's surreal. :)

My own, sweet, dulcet tones are pretty exciting. In a dark room you cant tell if its me or Bullwinkle. Now THATS sexy!

I'm a sucker for European accents - England, Ireland, Scotland, France and the Nordic region. Also Australia, Canada and Minnesota. American accents have the opposite affect on me, (especially southern accents) and I'm a California native. Perhaps it's the mystery of the unknown that makes foreign accents so enthralling?

California! Holy effing dog shit! Californicators sound like nuthin.

I think I like all those :) I don't mind an intelligent southern accent. I think that can be very very sexy. But if the person sounds like they've got a wad of chewing tobacco and a 3rd grade education...that's a major turn off. My least favorite American accent? Massachusetts. A thick Bostonian accent is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me.

Give me a touch of the Irish or a good Scottish brogue and I'm putty in your hands :D

I've had people ask if I'd just talk to them for a bit - happened all the time when I was a regional manager, and spent a lot of time on the phone with out of the area suppliers, contractors, etc.

I'm originally from SoCal, but I've been in the very deep south for the last thirty years. 'course, both of my parent were old family southern (Alabama and Georgia), so even before I lived here I probably had a trace of the accent anyway.

Most folks not from here think a woman with a (educated) southern accent is way sexy. :D

You could just talk to me for a while.

:)

You've been in the south long enough to know the difference between a drawl and a twang. Drawl is sexy. Twang just sounds like you're your own grandpa. Georgians are notorious for having that sexy drawl.

I have only been out of the south for almost 2 years. I don't have a deep southern accent. I guess having a mom from Indiana made a difference, but she sounds more southern than I do! Go figure.

Strangely, I cannot hear nor say the difference between pin/pen or din/den. I've been told by a Vancouverite friend that when I try to say pen properly it comes out PAN. So, I may not have a deep southern accent, but I have southern ears! LOL

P.S. Your siggy quote made me ROFL

Heart ~ If Look Could Kill

For me, this is a primal, sexy song. I can picture this woman in stilletto boots that go up to her thigh, leather corset and flogger. He's begging, what can I do baby? I'm sorry. I'll do anything to make it up to you. She tells him, there's something I've been wanting to try and now seems like an EXCELLENT time.

Oh, damn...I think I just came up with an idea for a story. :D

Here's a little more modern version...

Oh, it hurts!

Actually, she wasn't horrible. It's a big song and she did an admirable job. But she's no Ann Wilson.

C'mon Zeb...what sound/music/etc gets to you?

Played the first one. The hubby and I simultaneously broke into song!

Oh what a night!

The second one, I hadn't heard before. But the hubby crooned the chorus for me. *swoon*

The third one...I knew but the hubby didn't. I don't where I've heard it before. The lead singer was really moving! :D

The fourth one...METALLICA!!! Hell yeah! Had to get up and dance!

A youtube comment on the aforementioned video:

So there are all these drunk girls and the band keeps playing?!? WTF?
This is more disturbing than that Evanescence video where the chick is trying to climb up the side of the building and is hanging on for dear life and the band's like "to hell with you, we're playin' a fuckin' song"

I rofl'ed

There are several distinct Southern accents.

Very true.

I've had the most exposure to the Louisiana/New Orleans southern accent which is the most unique accent, I think. It's best when mixed with some Creole or Cajun.

Then, there's the Mississippi/Alabama accent. It's often peppered with a great deal of undesirable redneck. Arkansas is often included in this one.

Tennessee has a prettier accent, with a touch of drawl. It's softer.

Georgia/South Carolina is my favorite. Very musical and lilting.

I don't think Florida counts as southern really. Not sure if they HAVE a distinctive accent.

I've heard Virginia puts out a nice accent, but I have no personal experience with it.

Listening to Layla now. You have excellent taste in music, Zeb!

Of course, after Sloop John B by the Beach Boys, I had to listen to the Johnny Cash and Kingston Trio versions. And then I had to hear They Call The Wind Mariah, by the Kingston Trio. Awesome stuff!

Hubby prefers the accoustic version of Layla, I like to rock out with it, so I like the other arrangement better.

There are several very distinct Alabama accents - and I've lived in Mississippi briefly, and they sound absolutely nothing alike.

There is the coastal Alabama accent - very slow, using words you don't hear anywhere but the coast. From the middle of Alabama north, the accent is more homogeneous, but the two that are easy to tell apart are what you call "redneck," but what I would call uneducated, and then the educated accent (what my mother calls "better families").
