Happy STAR WARS Day!!!!

I don't know what's worse. The pun or that I'm sitting her listening to star wars music as my son watches star wars in his room.

Sad part is I can’t even get credit for the bad pun... it LITERALLY is star wars day and its because of this pun... I heard it on the radio and had to pass it along to you all…

sad part is i didnt even get that the month of May is the may in MAY the 4th be with you till i thought about it for like 20 mins after i heard it.

You probably sat around for a bit wondering 'why may? wouldn't all the 4ths be star wars day', and then realized . . .

Not that I did that. Nope. Not at all. :p

I saw it on facebook... funnily enough, there were more 'Star Wars day' posts than there usually are xmas or new year's ones...

Yup, all my friends (and I?) are geeks :)

I am laughing my ass off at all the punnery flying about!
I love Star Wars!!
I probably shouldn't admit this but I am such a geek that I have a Star Wars dictionary... and have used it.

*writes Star Wars day in her calendar*

I have a Millennium Falcon on my key chain. Always surprised who notices. :)

Why

Why is it "Revenge of the Fifth" and not "Revenge of the Sixth"?

Why is it "Revenge of the Fifth" and not "Revenge of the Sixth"?
"Fifth" is a slightly better rhyme, perhaps? The "x" sound in Sixth is harsher than the "f(th)" sound in Fifth. Also, fifth sort of better continues the lisp/pun sound of "Fourth be with you."

But that's just my conjecture.

Why is it "Revenge of the Fifth" and not "Revenge of the Sixth"?

In fact, my son the uber geek told me that "revenge of the sixth" is the commonly accepted sequel to "may the fourth be with you" among the geeky crowd that get their rocks off on such things.

That means I am an even bigger geek than I already thought I was. Geesh!
