I was reading this article about the Afgan war and thought, "This is a Culture War!"

After reading the article I'm sure.

"Capt. Stephan P. Karabin II, who commands Company C, greeted Company K as it arrived. His brief to the incoming officers was as forceful as what the Afghan elders had told Colonel Newman.

The Afghan soldiers who accompanied Company C, he said, had looted the 84-booth Semitay Bazaar immediately after the Marines swept through and secured it. Then the Afghan soldiers refused to stand post in defensive bunkers, or to fill sandbags as the Americans, sometimes under fire, hardened their joint outpost. Instead, they spent much of their time walking in the bazaar, smoking hashish. "

With Afghans for allies, one needs no enemies.

When you make war you really need to make total war as Rome did against Carthage circa 160 BC.

Every person, whether he knows it or not, is a philosopher. Each of us necessarily develops a theory of how the world works. This theory is expressed as a set of axioms. The axioms are self-evident ideas that are recognized and accepted by everybody in sight. The axioms define human nature, the content of history, the workings of economics, the purpose of government, the goals of life. Today’s American population operates according to axioms which are false, oligarchical – and suicidal. A dictatorship or a monarchy can get by with slaves or subjects, but a republic demands educated and capable citizens. Without citizens, a republic cannot survive. The most dangerous force in American life today is public opinion itself. In today’s crisis, public opinion rejects out of hand all the urgent measures needed to promote national survival. This public opinion is stupefied by television and spectator sports and crassly manipulated by the news media. This depraved public opinion reflects not so much the admitted failure of political leadership as the degradation of the intellectual life of the average citizen. In the face of this kind of public opinion, world civilization as we have known it cannot long survive.

all i know is we shouldnt be fighting there, wasting lives. it will go on and on

No. What we should do is slaughter every swinging dick in Afghanistan and make a nature park of the place.

What if we had done that to the Germans you suddenly want to emulate so much?

I dont take warm showers with any Germans. We can start with Herman then get the towel heads.

I'm fond of Spaniards and Italians and West Virginians/Kentuckians, all the rest eat shit.

You... were... just talking about how "great" Hitler was only a few DAYS ago. Literally. Have you forgotten this already? I know your memory must be pretty short but come on. Even you can't be that stupid.

Threads in this forum look positively surreal when I put JBJ on ignore via this plugin. You guys look like you're arguing with a lamppost.

Actually I spoke of how quickly he squashed the Great Depression in Germany. I think you have some camel cunt between your ears.

Except that he didn't. He actually made things worse in Germany. Its easy to LOOK successful when you institute radical socialist policies. But most people who actually look at things can see that he just made them worse.

AL QAEDA?

Do your homework, boy. The 1st damned thing he did after becoming chancellor was put everyone back to work. Its all documented if you care to research it. The number of new state buildings he commissioned was huge, plus the autobahns and military facilities. He sure as Hell didnt pull all the military hardware out of his ass. Ditto for the German navy and merchant marine.

Roosevelt was absorbed with pouring milk into the sewers, slaughtering pigs, and fucking with people's gardens. Huey Long argued that Roosevelt was a stingy, fascist commited to saving big business and sacrificing the little guy. All the alphabet agencies furnished cheap labor to business. The fools thought St.Franklin saved them, but what he did was starve them then give them low wage jobs.

Blah blah blah blah blah. Roosevelt and Hilter were both LEFTISTS. Neither of them achieved much despite what you seem to say. Hitler's rise LOOKS impressive if you only look at the surface. Dig deeper and you realize he was a colossal failure running on empty.

Gerald Celente predicted this a couple of weeks ago. It goes something like this:

Americans are murdering innocent women and children in Pakistan, bombing hell out of them. What's the chance of it enraging hundreds of thausands of Pakistani Americans? 2010: the year of REAL terror attacks. (as opposed to government false flag attacks).

Talk about surreal, have you seen the JBJ gardening thread? He just posts about tomatoes and shit without calling anyone a raghead or gook or kyke, or insinuating that [problem X] is entirely the fault of [racial group X]. I read through a bit of it and started feeling like I was in the twilight zone...

Bless his little heart.

Songcatcher sounds like a mirror image of JBJ. Odd how things like that happen . . .

I do?

Now and then a good ruler might appear, and did appear, along with excellent philosophers and scientists. But the oligarchy was always present, waiting to drag the society down again. Usury, constant warfare, slavery, racism, Aristotelian philosophy – these are the trademarks of oligarchy. Oligarchs come in many forms: the Roman senate, the barons of the dark ages, the Russian boyars, east European magnates, the French frondeurs, the princes of the Holy Roman Empire. Most of these feudal aristocrats were very ignorant, brutal, and crude. The medieval feudal aristocrats were easily manipulated by the Venetians, who had inherited the methods of Babylon, Rome, and Byzantium. From about 1000 AD until about 1600, the leading center of oligarchy in Europe and nearby Asia was Venice.

You do. And anyone who chooses a professional conspiracy theorist as his choice for explanation makes this bear wonder . . .

In the past men were handsome and great (now they are children and dwarfs), but this is merely one of the many facts that demonstrate the disaster of an aging world. The young no longer want to study anything, learning is in decline, the whole world walks on its head, blind men lead others equally blind and cause them to plunge into the abyss, birds leave the nest before they can fly, the jackass plays the lyre, oxen dance. Mary no longer loves the contemplative life and Martha no longer loves the active life, Leah is sterile, Rachel has a carnal eye, Cato visits brothels, Lucretius becomes a woman. Everything is on the wrong path. In those days, thank God, I acquired from my master the desire to learn and a sense of the straight way, which remains even when the path is tortuous.
