....would the Left still insist on amnesty? Would they still allow them to vote without a driver's license or any proof of citizenship?

Just asking.

Anmesty doesn't mean giving illegals the ability to register to vote.

End of thread IMO.

Kind of a stupid question there, Adultery Boi.

The Republican party has made it very clear in the past 5 or so years that Project Small Tent requires a renewed focus on white males over 50.

Their focus on "English only" laws basically tells Hispanics "You. Are. Not. Wanted. Here." so only the most Masochistic and self-loathing Hispanic would join the Repubs.

I'm not sure why they are spending so much money on trying to keep them out, we should be spending more time on trying to make them citizens to increase tax revenue. I mean come on, this country was built on immigration.

It was built on LEGAL immigration.

No it wasn't, thousands of illegal immigrants came into this country and made lives for themselves.

Tell me you are joking and do not honestly believe what you said?

No, it is a rhetorical question.

Thousands? We're talking millions of people today.

That aside, how would you answer the question posed in the thread title?

They already can, idiot.

No, they can't. Not until they're naturalized.

As for the question in the OP: Mexicans are pretty socially-conservative Catholics. Many of them would be potential Republicans, if not for the GOP's racist-xenophobe base.

Moving to the original question at hand, yes, I believe republicans would change their stance if they knew it would get them votes.

All through McCains election he kept saying he's a Maverick, and a few weeks ago he said that he's now not a maverick. All politicians lie, what ever gets them the votes they need. It's our job to try and determine how much of each candidates BS is true.

You're saying they'd still be fighting for illegal immigrants?

Where did I say that?

As for illegal immigrants voting Republican, then the GOP has a huge problem. With hardline conservatives not wanting illegal immigrants around, never mind what the left will do.

Anyway, since you wanted an answer to the question, then yes, I will say it will change the debate.

If we knew for sure illegal immigrants would vote Republican, you guys would open your own ACORN offices to get them registered.

Since this is speculative, I wonder what kind of commentary Sean Hannity would have if illegal immigrants came en masse to a Tea Party?

You said it right here:
