I read this story yesterday and was too angry and disgusted to post it. Those officals were WRONG!

And people like JBJ and others like him wonder why GLBT want EQUAL rights. What GLBT have now is not equal. Not even close. They wouldn't have dared done that to a hetero couple. Lawsuits everywhere at the first glimmer of it happening to a hetero couple.

Elderly abuse case in California

This makes me so sad. Sometimes it seems like equal rights for gays and lesbians is just a matter of time, like there are stumbling blocks but it's going to happen.

Then you read something like this and it just seems like things are never gonna get better. After Prop 8 in California, I worry that if the Conservatives ever get a majority in Canada, we could easily go backward on gay marriage.

Greene is represented by Dennis along with Stephen O’Neill and Margaret Flynn of Tarkington, O’Neill, Barrack & Chong in a lawsuit against the County, the auction company, and the nursing home. NCLR is assisting Greene's attorneys with the lawsuit. A trial date has been set for July 16, 2010 in the Superior Court for the County of Sonoma.


I hope those guys hurt the county bad that should never happen in this country regardless of who you are! They have rights as citizens, and they took advantage of two elderly men rather than work out a plan with them to let them be safe and enjoy their lives. I knew this kind of crap goes on with child services, but...well it is just to much.

I hope some people are fired over this and lose their petitions, that would be fair. After all the county's money is just the people's money, and I don't think money will truly compensate these men from this horrible injustice. This could happen to any older American if it could happen to these men!

I just ploughed through the legal complaint entered by Clay's attorney. It's long and very legalese in language, but my god, what those people did is unspeakable.

I suggest you try and read it, it will make your blood run cold.

This shouldn't happen to any ageing couple, no matter their orientation.

What happened in this case is unconscionable. What happened is so beyond wrong, it can only be described as piracy, vicious brutality and an inexcusable affront to human dignity.

I can only hope that the defendants do the right thing and own up to their grievous discretions. My guess is that, having already lawyered up, they will deny...deny...deny.

This case is worth following, if only to see how these thugs and bandits justify their actions.
