the satellite pic of the link le jerk gave, shows that the photo DC took was of the south face of the building, in other words DC was facing NORTH so the sun at 7pm would be in the west, or to the left of the picture as we are looking at it. this is also true of the other pic of the next shop. you can even see the water fountain.

Ah, I didn't think of the streetview thing, just looked a the map. Still, without an actusl shot of the sun in the pic, it's inconclusive. Reflections can do funny things. But is there really anyone here that believes DC is bullshitting? Nah, didn't think so.

Now the building in this photo isn't even casting a shadow in the same direction as the previous ones you presented. This last photo actually looks like a 7pm photo.

The sun being to the left of the other photo is contradicted by the sun being implied to the RIGHT on this one.

Here's where you busted yourself, toots. This photo is more correct in that it is NOT casting a shadow onto the parking lot.
