I'm back ......and oh so worn out, little miss chucked a hissy fit for about 30min because she wanted her daddy to pick her up from school *sigh*

Ah the good old hissy fits! My little miss 12 just informed me that her father is taking her to get her nose pierced next week. :rolleyes: I didn't bother arguing because at the moment there is a chance he or she may change their minds but the minute I give my opinion the piercing is a sure thing.

my niece is 13 and talking about the piercings too, so I told her about a girl I took to the ER because her belly ring piercing had gone septic and was oozing puss.....(sorry if anyone is eating). I then showed her some lovely things off the net of piercings gone wrong...she is now sticking to just piercing her ears for now *smiles*

My little miss is 3 and going on 16, she is also a complete daddy's girl so is finding the separation hard with the changes even though he is still living here for now. But daddy not picking her up from school was a huge issue apparently and boy didn't I get to hear about it

Your made the right decision there ICR.
I found that our dealing with my daughter after her mother pissed off she had trouble dealing with it all.
By the way it still happens now with her too, can't be told & if anyone tries she does it anyway.:rolleyes::mad:

Lots of girls are daddy's girls & love the miss 3 going on 16 LOL been there done that.
 
yeah I know....I deal with the daddy obsession most of the time ....but when she flies off the handle over something like him not picking her up from daycare its a bit hard....*shrugs* but I coped she is calm now and reading little mermaid and calmly tucked under a blanket on her little couch waiting for daddy to come home so she can say goodnight.

Brissie is (shock, horror) FINE! Yes, not a skerrick of rain to be seen on the weather map! So of course I'm working this weekend and can't enjoy the roads :mad:

As for being quiet, isn't that one of the things I'm known for? (I'll leave the others to the lurkers' imaginings ;) )

ETA: Hope you (and AB) are feeling better soon :rose:

I'm one of the northern neighbours, I'm sorry to say (suburbs of Brisbane) - land of sunshine (when it feels like it), sandy beaches and silly politicians! (OK, so that last item could be found anywhere, but we've had some real doozies up here!) I found this place in 2003 (that long? I wouldn't believe it if my profile didn't have the date) and went to my first G&G in 2004 (I think).

So I've seen quite a few changes, some good, some... not quite so good. Hoping to see a few more good ones - maybe in person around September? :D

oh umm well I am south of you, half way between Bris and Syd *smiles* I have been here this time since November last year BUT I came back from a 3 year or so break ....new id cause I couldn't remember the old details.

I have not been to any of the meets and not sure I can make this September but it does sound really fun and everyone here seems so nice.

Wow - who knew a few extra photons would have that effect? ;)

Well, I suppose I'd forget my details too if I was away for too long (I've done that already with a gaming site I used to frequent) - just as well I have the password saved!

And yes, everyone here is nice (as far as I know) - just silly every now and then...

And I'm afraid I have to pack up soon & get some sleep - work starts again at too-!@#$%-early am tomorrow. Thanks for chatting Rayne :kiss:
