Looking for someone to RP with.

If you post some ideas it might help.

Check out the other OOC's in this same forum to get an idea. It's a little hard to attract interest if there's no ideas. :)

Your gender would be good to..maybe some of your interests,,hang out in the lounge and play a little so others can see your writing...make friends..the usual sort of things..
Right now your an unknown quantity and if you want people to invest thier time writing with you ..show them your worth it.

good luck!

I an willing to play a range of things just as long as i have atleast a little idea about it. I could say i'm literate, or semi literate since i cant really make novel long replies, but i could atleast spell properly, and do 2 to 3 paragraphs.

oh..I would be hopeless if it wasn't for spell check and I constantly struggle with punctuation..
Never have time for really long posts..(to be honest, it tends to intimidate the other writes and you almost always end up godmodelinig)
and sometimes the post is short by necessity .got move the plot along or deal with a "blocking" issue. you post only needs to be as long as it is..,content is king ,not length..

your being reticent about your self.. I can understand but
people here tend to need some connection with thier writting partners..
We're exploring our fantasies and dark desires and while all can see what you have written.it's still a strangely intimate experiance.

Don't get me wrong ,not I'm not trying to be critical, actualy I'm trying to drag you in,
open up .let people in, take the risk...you might find what you don't know your looking for..

Come up with an idea (a sexual fantasy you always wanted to act out), put it up here in this thread or on the Looking for co-writers thread in the Roleplaying forum or better yet both.

Coming here as a newbie is like entering a room filled with strangers. No one will talk to you right off. Not because they're mean but because they don't know you and you don't know them. That's what you have to change and the best way to do that is networking.

Why networking: Because most people choose partners in an RP for three reasons.
1.) They've written with you before and like you
2.) They admire you're writing/RPing style
3.) They're interested in the idea of the thread you've proposed

Being new the first two aren't really applicable so you're best bet is to propose an idea and odds are someone will be interested in it enough to partner up with you.
Or alternately apply to be someone's partner for a thread proposed by someone in the above mentioned Looking for Co-writers thread.

Ezra really hit it right on the head. Open up, give some info on what kind of experience you want from your co-writer. You don't have to have a plot already cooked up just a premise a direction for you and your partner to go down.

Anyway I wish you good luck and a fun time here.

Thanks for the advice. I'm just too timid to start properly. Sorry. Hehe. Maybe i'll post some things around here some time... I hope.. Thanks again

Hang out in the lounge and get to know people, then you may be more comfortable starting a thread of your own.
