I'm happy - got a surprise phone call from my 22 yo daughter today
I haven't spoken to her for months. She has no landline phone, no internet and communication has been through sporadic text messages (when she remembers to reply that is!).

She was at her dad's so used his phone. Dad wasn't home at the time. Oh dear what will he make of the phone call to Australia when he gets the bill?? I don't really care, and her words were "He'll get over it!" Got to love her!

Thanks I haven't seen either grown up kid since Gil and I got married in December 06. Daughter works on a dairy farm (she's 2IC after only 10 months) and son is right now on his way to Switzerland for a computer conference/presentation thingy for a couple of weeks (a few extra days paid for by him, the rest by his work).

Very proud of both of them

BANDIT has to wonderful kids who have both done wonderfully well with their choices in their lifes directions & both with brains although both her & my daughters (from seperate relationships) seem to suffet the failing in keeping intouch.

Once they both realised how much love BANDIT & I have they freely accepted me.
