Honestly, "Hi. How's your night going?" still sounds like kind of a pickup coming from some random guy that said woman doesn't know. If you want to get to know a woman on a forum, post in sections she tends to visit. That's the best way to get her attention. I don't mean stalking her or anything. Just contribute to the topics and have fun with it. After you gain her respect, I'd say a PM like that will probably get a much more positive response.Yes I like getting PM's. I feel kinda bad when I sign on and then off, and I miss seeing one that somebody sent me while I was briefly on.
On the other hand, I hate when I send a perfectly polite "Hi, how's your night going?" or some variation of that to a woman and get the cold shoulder. I asked how your night was, not your cup size, get over yourself and be polite and reply.
Sorry for the slight rant, tired of women on here being rude like that.
Bi men are usually the nicest to PM with.
Well, you have 239 posts sincer 2006, so you certainly don't post that regularly. (unless you're like me and left the site for a long time) Making a single post isn't really enough to get noticed. You need to be a regular, contributing member. Said woman also has to like you.^ I agree partially, the only issues I have are:
1) Lots of people reply to threads and don't neccesarily get noticed that way. I've posted quite a few and been totally overlooked, and
2) Be nice and reply. If it turns out to be a come-on they are free to tell the sender to get lost. Either way a "My night is going good, how's yours?" takes about 10 seconds to type and send.
does anyone else look forward to checking out the private messages waiting for them
I definitely look forward to them.![]()
