There are no good reasons to stay away from this place. It's a great place to meet and chat with awesome people. Too much time away makes you forget about that though. ;-) I was just away with no reason at all.

I've been surviving though. My son is back from the desert, so that's a good thing. But right after getting back he was diagnosed with AML. So take a good with a bad. He's doing well though. First round is over and they think that they got it. My daughter is finishing up her second year of pre-vet and doing well at it. The next boy down graduated HS in Jan and went to AK to make some money for college. And the other two are still at home with me.

That's the short version. The long one would require dinner and drinks. lol.

I am glad to hear your son is back but so sad to hear his diagnosis. :rose: Crossing my fingers and saying a prayer that they did get it all! Sounds like the rest are doing pretty well. :)

Glad to hear son is home, but sorry to hear about the AML. Hoping they did get it all and he'll be on the road to recovery quickly.

Congrats on the daughter, that's wonderful! Who'd have thought the vet program was so long? :confused:

Smart one, that second son. I always hear AK is the best place to make some good money.

Sounds like you've definitely been keeping busy ... but as Kayte said ... where are we doing the dinner and drinks for the long version?

Now that the Litogether is over life has calmed down considerably. Life is moving along otherwise, the short version of mine is pretty depressing actually so I'll save it for dinner or at least a phone conversation. :kiss:
