How longs this been up here lol? as if I could leave you for long where else would I feed my insanity ? I am now off to write more critiques for the dreaded annikey helppppppp I don't know how to do critiques :nana: :nana: :nana:

I think you're doing just fine with the critiques.
 
Thankyou very much they don't come easy and not knowing the proper wordage of what things are doesn't help!

the very fact you're doing it is something all poets need appreciate. Far too much passes unremarked upon, and i'm as guilty as the next where off-screen life gets in the way of our on-screen experiences :eek:

as for terminology, we all learn the more we do it, and don't stop learning!

One critique form is this:

point out something you liked.

point something out you thought could use improvement.

If you are feeling particularly generous,
you might finish with another compliment.

That would be what is known as the sandwich technique:
compliment
criticism
compliment


You can also leave off the criticism and just give a compliment.
