And this thing is HOT!http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100323/ap_on_re_as/as_india_chili_grenades;_ylt=AgSFB1YkRGMOkSP6NOW_txas0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTFpNTlraDQ5BHBvcwMzOARzZWMDYWNjb3JkaW9uX21vc3RfcG9wdWxhcgRzbGsDaW5kaWFubWlsaXRh

"It has more than 1,000,000 Scoville units, the scientific measurement of a chili's spiciness. Classic Tabasco sauce ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville units, while jalapeno peppers measure anywhere from 2,500 to 8,000."

I gotta try some of those peppers some day, I grew up eating cayenne and love hot food!

I know it sounds like it but it's a real one . . . from the BBC if I recall correctly. Talk about crowd control!
I don't know how using chillies is going to help if nothing else did. Weapon against terrorism indeed. Ha!

Don't mind me. I'm just being a disbelieving pessimistic Indian person here.

Then I should whip you up a batch of my Bwana Walt's Safari Hot Sauce. I'll leave out the coconut milk and see how long you can stay in the same room with it! :D

I have to fix it with rubber gloves on and hold my breath when I pour it from the pan to the blender.

Nope, not right this moment, thank you. Living here for the past two years has made my stomach really sensitive. *sigh*

Wow, that must be some good stuff. Is it really that hot ?

Not once you put in a cup of coconut milk. Then it's merely hot. Makes a killer marinade for chicken and sloshing it over garlic shrimp is a true African Experience. I think the recipe is in the AH recipe thread.

Ok i'll look it up, sounds like good stuff.

So, like, what does the Indian militia do... eat the chili upwind of the terrorists and drop trou?
