I usually keep my nails pretty short, but sometimes they grow a bit long if I don't keep after them. It's fun to tap them on tables, and then eventually I cut them. Sometimes I wish I could get a manicure, but I inevitably trim them before that. Ditto for my toenails - they're usually raggedy and I rip 'em off so they're really short.

Well, this morning I realized I have (1) nice long fingernails (2) nice tidy toenails (3) a week by myself because my wife is going to a conference EARLY Monday morning. So I figured I'd get a mani/pedi just to treat myself nicely...I think my last one was maybe four years ago. But it's a nice ritual, so I went and got it done at a new place, they did a good job.

And then tonight, my wife asks if I want to "get busy" - ARGH!! Why did she have to suggest that right after a manicure?!

LOL...problems only lesbians have. :)

Even though I don't have a female partner right now, I still feel wierd if my nails grow past the tips of my fingers.

Oh, well.. that's why the latex gloves sometimes.

mine are fairly short but they grow really quickly so i have to cut them fairly often....

Yeah.... well it's always funny to see women walk around with the index and middle finger nails trimmed short. I've seen it a bit at the local clubs and always find myself amused. :rolleyes:

LOL...the funny thing is, I do me with my right, and my wife with my left...so I'd never be totally out of commission! ;)

Oh I've never done THAT...we've done each other at once, but I couldn't do both of us at once! I like to concentrate on giving her my full attention. :)

No need, sadly she broke her nails in a car accident. Luckily I think that was all that was broken.
