Kinda pissed to see my "conservative" friends posting Right wing smears everywhere as if they were truth. Cutting Americans Health Insurance Premiums being Called "Fascism" While they turn a blind eye to the great use of American Money and Lives the Iraq War has been.
They sat by, and stood silently as corporations got fat sending American's jobs to places like India, they stood quietly as our international prestige fell, along with our housing values (Billions and Billions spent on a hot war, Taking Thousands of our Soldier's Lives, Accomplishing NOTHING thats NOT Fascism),
Turned a CONSTANT blind eye to all of BUSH's overspending, but when it comes to a Democratically controlled Congress, Trying to institute fair practices, and fair cost for good working Americans who cant afford it is "Socialism"
Why are my good friends who are hard working Americans themselves, suddenly the puppets of right-wing millionaires protecting their own pockets.
No Bill Frist does not want this to Pass, He Owns an HMO, the Republican Conservatives are acting out of their own , petty self interest, while people who paid policies for years are getting their policies revoked, denied care, after making them rich they cut you!
And My friends are making all the slippery slope arguments like "They are trying to sneak in socialism into the last bastion of free market will."
Paying less isnt a BAD thing, but neo-cons are trying to convince you it is.
What bothers me is
Trillion for the war - No comment
Trillion to the American People for LOWER health care costs (No NO Revolt revolt)
Aren't the Conservatives always the ones to say "Take care of Americans 1st"
So why take the case of billionaire fat cats over your own kind? this is really disturbing me.
Former Ex-Independent thinkers i know are now like "Neil Harris says...., Rush Limbaugh Says....., Michael Savage Says, Glen Beck Says....."
They dont offer any solutions themselves, just bitch bitch bitch, Its an old boys network they have been coerced into protecting, for no good reason.
Do they feel a part of a Movement, what is this new McCarthyism? All these slippery slope arguments crying "Socialism, Communism Fascism" In light of what they have let PASS RIGHT BY THEIR EYES UNNOTICED for 8 Years, why is it ONLY NOW they See? ANd even then, to their own detriment and position, support billionaire Health Care Ceos over their own interests?
It doesn't make any sense! WHY WHY WHY? is the "I get my healthcare FOR FREE, I don't pay a cent for it, but everyone who does not have it MUST pay exorbitant rates" WHY is THIS the Issue you rally behind? I surely don't get it.
The HMOs don't give a shit about regular people... You pay your premium, and they kick you out of hospital early, deny you care, force higher and higher premiums and find every reason to raise you co-payment, AND deny you coverage, Put everyone through frustrating RED TAPE (You've never had to self advocate for yourself, or god forbid an elderly parent? I have...)
Why is this status quo something they rally to defend? I truly DON'T get it...
Why average people defending the Mega-Rich? Why they turn a blind eye to real Waste and Real Fascism, and cry about saving the economy Bush destroyed, and reigning in companies with unfair practices and call the last 2 facism while denying the 1st two? Why be a puppet to a Mega corporation who does not care that you live or die?
Please, leave all SMEARS like Death panels out of your replies, I'm hoping there are some people here who DON'T listen to the right wing lie machine in action.
Single Payer, Comprehensive Plan, About $500.00 a month right now, And If you write a salient reply, PLEASE, Include in your reply wether you get your Health Care as A Perk, or whether you PAY for it YOURSELF..
(I'm finding the people who rally the MOST against health care reform, are the ones who don't pay anyway, and THATS really weird, because it wont cost them, yet, they want to deny the chance to see a doctor for someone else?)
A chance to dominate the weaker? Playing out a power fantasy? Or is it just that they feel they belong? To a cause? To all who are championing this cause right now. Let me tell you. "Hard working Americans should have UN-AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE" is a shitty cause to be fighting for. Thanks for caring! Its not too much money to fight a Useless war, but it is, when it comes to cutting costs for all Americans.
