Did you feel a sense of loss when you cut your hair? I trimmed my beard recently. I was bummed for a couple days.

Nope, not at all. I felt a sense of freedom. All of that hair weighed a ton and really was incredibly dried out and damaged. I also spent a lot of time suffocating in it while I was trying to sleep. I'm generally terrified of getting my hair cut but I was so happy with the job that she did and the time and effort that she put into it that I tipped her almost as much as the cost of the haircut itself.
