morning sickness early on in the pregnancy.....*checks my Gynokoalagist files*......yep, it's a girl.

popping my two cents in the bucket (not the puke filled one)

get her to eat something as soon as she wakes up, before she even gets out of bed. dry toast or crackers or something like that.

ginger is also great for nausea. ginger tea or good old bundaberg ginger beer are just great. and if all else fails there are these wonderful little anti nausea pills (but i can't remember what they're called) that aren't at all harmful while pregnant.

and to everyone in brisbane....how awesome is the sunshine today?? woohoo. great day for kite flying, which me and the little guy are about to go and do.

my 2 sisters-in-law had morning sickness all the way through there first pregnancies and it looked like they were going to have the same through their second, until someone told them to drink water all day. something about them being dehydrated by the water needs of the developing baby? any way, they tried it and the sickness stopped almost instantly and, so long as they kept sipping water all day, they were fine for the duration. just a thought...

have fun flying kites, insert____here! :)

my gyno told me that the morning sickness was caused by the build up of hormones during the night. so i can totally agree that drinking heaps of water would help. besides, you can never be "overhydrated" during pregnancy imo.

I'm going to piss everyone off by saying during both my pregnancies I only felt nauseous once, and that was my fault for going up to the shed where the possum skins were drying (they have a unique stench  ).

hahaha omg hahaha ewww i think a shed full of drying possum skins would be enough to make most people feel nauseous, Bandit58!

I spent $80 for a pair of cross trainers for the gym 3 1/2 years ago and thought that was overpriced  Mind you I'm still wearing them! :D

Gil has gone out to a vintage speedcar thingy so I'm home on my own for a while until we have to go to speedway later.

not bad that price .. and even if its cost if you have it for a while worth it but for kids its another story they change shoes often from size 11 we took 12 now hope his feet stop growing will be hard to find nice shoes if go more

and its nice to be alone sometimes

Need a naked assistant? :)

well that's sound nice

i have to buy new runners every year for work, but at least i can claim them back on tax. they cop a fair hiding so i've found it's best to buy good ones, even if they do cost more.

and my little guy grows out of shoes every four months, but then he isn't five yet and we all know how fast small children grow.
