Raven try the salvos or red cross or any second hand store they often have such things cheap and there is nothing wrong with them they are all clean and checked to be in good condition and seriously a great way of saving money when your doing it hard.

Hun your not the only one that has happened to seriously, chill its not the end of the world. Times are hard money is tight and to rent a place you need a room mate........there are worse things. And yes underwear second hand I wouldnt advise but you can save money else where and then afford your $6 boxers.

As I said there are always options you just have to look for them......you can buy brand new underwear from ebay for $6 no doubt or cheaper and you will probably get more then one pair. You can always cut costs on luxuries and buying different brands and looking second hand.

As for boredom........go to the library borrow a book its free and entertaining if your libraries are like mine you can even borrow DVD's CD and games from time to time all stuff that is free and entertaining. ...........and you have us so stop letting the dark side win or I will have to come over there tickle you sense less and then smother you in kiss before I then dip you on honey and let the ants have you.

I know this feeling. I'm a single mom and money is TIGHT. If my brother didn't live with my and watch my daughter for me I'd never be able to pay my rent and her daycare costs without a roommate.

heck first years of my marriage due to a bad business deal with a family member we went bankrupt had to sell our home and then move to my parents farm and live rent free WITH them were I then fell pregnant after 4 years of trying.....you wanna talk about stressful. It wasn't until my daughter was 1 and half before we got to rent our own place again and things are still hard from time to time......so Hun we have all had our issues and hard times they are what make us and how we deal with them is what forms us........dont let them form you into something dark and weak.

You have to just pick yourself up by your shoe laces and keep going, there are always options and choices.

Oh and Razor, if the student loan payments are a problem, they are usually willing to work with you on either lowering your payments, or you could get a defferment or forebearance. Usually they'll only give you a defferal (no intrest accruse) if you're back in school, with a forebearance you just don't make the payments for now and interest will continue to grow on them.

lol. Mom and I were talking about what it would take to get me in my own place again. She thinks assisted living will be enough (because she and my therapist are under the impression that I have Asperger's....judging from the list of symptoms, I see a couple here and there, but all are attributable to OTHER THINGS...). no, but I have bad experience with renting. My last landlord was...well, let's just say she and her husband should BOTH be in jail. They should have probably been in jail the past 3 decades.

I think the limit at any given time is a year. Deferrels are different, you can get them for longer and would probably need to show proof of being back in school or having some sort of medical necessity so for that you might need a ride to the docs.

actually, I was thinking more along the lines of "dismissal due to permanent disability" which is what was recommended to me by the last company to call about it.
