I need a proof reader and story editor. I've never written a story before. I used Microsoft Word Processor and it's 23 pages. It's a first draft and not complete.

Thanks

You dont need a lesbian editor, you idiot.

I can edit it perfectly without having female organs that have had tongues and other devices around and in them

I can read, edit, clean it up, and tighten it, and tell you whats unreal. A good editor, like a good politician, does not need to believe what is said to be true, just needt to make it believable for the masses.

obx,

If you still need help, I'm willing to chip in. I'm not a lesbian (or a girl) but I've written passable lez stories. Check the top list. :)

Also, I was going to message you, but you're private messaging is off. You'll be needing to turn that on.

For that, go to: User CP --> Edit Options --> look for a box to check marked "Enable Private Messaging" and another one marked "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up."

In the meantime, welcome to the Lit authors club! :rose:

Why must the editor be lesbian? I don't know what special qualities she might bring to the project as an editor, but I suppose you have your reasons for wanting one? I suspect the reasons aren't literary though.

That's why I need an editor. It should have been an editor for a lesbian story.

My PM is now on.

How do you edit a lesbian?

Why on earth would you want to? If she was mildly intelligent, I'd listen to just about anything she had to say and I'd scribble down notes when she got around to the naughty parts. :D

Laura and paco are taking the p--s. As a guy you have to decide whether you're writing realistic lesbian fiction, like Colleen Thomas or lucky-E-leven, or whether you see your readership as male and write accordingly.

A lot of male lesbian fiction, whilst well written, is too physical, too soon. Trying to equate male ejaculation with female orgasm is a big mistake. A realistic girl-on-girl story has a lot more mental and cuddling input than the 'wham-bam' approach. If you want to write realistic lesbian you'll get less votes and comments cos the guys don't buy that.

Must be the singularity of chromosomes!

I'd happily give your story a read. If you want, just PM me.

Okay, I give up what the heck is a p--s?

And I agree with e_o's assessment of true lez and male fantasy lez. I've been trying to straddle that divide.

Dream is on the button. I love the expression ' taking the piss' as a great English put-down.

Yeah, I owe you a mail. I think you straddle the divide better than most guys - but are you trying to write lesbian fiction or talk to a predominately male audience for 'girl on girl' action?

That's not meant to be rude but I think, others will probably disagree, that female sexuality - straight or gay - depends on emotion and touch/stroke. Much of male lesbian writing ignores the cuddle quotient that is so vital to female sexuality. Before the big bang, of course.

Frankly, I'm trying to do both. That's how I've stumbled into a style for my g-g stories that someone smarter than me described as "luridly romantic." I've been trying to mix the hot 'n naughty nookie with the snuggly sweet tenderness. It's a juggling act of sorts. Can't say I always get it right but I'm trying like the heckles over here. :)

I think "Strawberries and Bubblegum" hit the nose right where it counted, but then it was perverted lesbian stuff all the same so I may be a poor judge. Still, they took so damn long to cuddle before getting into bed that perhaps the essentials were indeed taken care of.

I think I might be a lesbian in a man's body -- close enough?
