How long it takes others to finish a story of 3-5 Lit. pages?

That depends...if I'm really into the story and the characters are tell me what they want to do and say...4 or 5 days. If the characters are silent and I have to drag it out of them two weeks. If they are really stubborn, well let's just say I have a file folder full of those stories as they never do get finished. Every once in awhile I go back and look at them to see if the characters will talk to me.

The three novel length (70,000 words or more) works have each taken about a year to have in a condition to submit to my editor.

That's a pretty long story. I have some in progress that are much shorter than that and have been on my HD for as much as five years. I have also banged out some in little more than a week.

When I'm in the zone and the characters are really talking to me, I can finish 3 pages in as many days ( raw draft )

Most of the time, when I'm a notch down and just 'on a roll', it will take 2-3 days per Lit page.

When I hit yet another trough where I don't feel like doing anything, it can take months.

I've cranked out Lit page and a half tales in one evening several times for my third pen name.

I'm a speedy reader, but a slow writer. I've hammered out 3-4k words in an afternoon if I'm on a roll...I don't think I've ever written that many Lit pages, in fact I'm sure I haven't. I like short stories...I don't have the patience for a novel.

Two to four days when I don't have editing work to do. I've just finished a 25,000-word story in five days, with would be seven Lit. pages.

I thought only I procrastinated that badly ;op

It's not entirely procrastinating, although there is a lot of that. Sometimes I start on a story and lose interest and start something else. I have about thirty stories or chapters in progress at any one time.

The time ranges from a maximum of infinity (or never), because the story doesn't get finished even though it is more than 5 Lit pages already, to a minimum of a 24 hour day if the Muses are cooperative, as they were with my NaNoWriMo 12 chaptered story "Flawed Red Silk".
