Watching the various news channels tonight, former Governor Sarah Palin's 'hand writing', remains a humorous topic as White House Press Secretary Gibbs wrote on his hand and displayed it to the Press Corps (core)(heh)

A couple of lady wonks confessed they had written notes to themselves on their hands, shopping items, appointments...et cetera...

I can see it now...I imagined I was giving a speech and held my hand up as if I were reading something from my palm...

Personally, not that that matters in the least, I don't think Palin has the gravitas to run for the Presidency. But then, again, on the other hand, nor do I think Harry Truman belonged anywhere near the White House considering his beginnings.

Still, the elitism displayed by both Parties, and it is continuing with the Healthcare debate, may be so abhored by the public at large that the populism of Palin may carry the day in 2012 if she survives that long politically.

Several rather down home folksey habits of Palin, while so infuriating to the elite Liberal crowd, the 'beltway boors', are adored by the public at large in a manner seldom seen before in National Politics, at least not since Jackie Kennedy and her handsome hubby.

I do wonder just how much of her core conservatism will remain, if and when, it is felt she has a chance to win a General Election.

The race(s) of the man are not the issue...that's a convenient smoke screen...it's his inherently flawed policies that America's speedily refuting...you can fool some of the people some of the time, etc.

He is rich, but he was not born rich. He amassed wealth by cutting deals with other crooks in Chicago. Almost all pols do the same thing, and that applies to Dems and Reps.
