Bugga sorry to hear that ICR :rose:
But with all the ads I see for child care workers I'm sure you won't have too much of a problem finding another job - just make sure it's one that suits YOU and won't have you jumping through hoops and doing the work of three people while others sit on their butts slacking off *hug*

Hi {{{{{Bandit}}}}}}

Hope you are doing well sweetie. Yes, I think bugga is the right word for ICR. :(

Well....I'm now officially menopausal

After 3 months or more of horrible hot flashes and dripping sweat, I went to the doctor and am going to start HRT. The pill I am on doesn't seem to have enough estrogen to stop the hot flashes (30 micrograms as opposed to 1mg for the HRT pill).

This new pill is one which is taken continuously so I may end up having NO periods at all (yay for that!) but could also have irregular spotting/bleeding until my body gets used to it (which will be a pain in the bum for a while  ). However I'll do anything and put up with anything just so I can get rid of the horrible sweats.

 WHAT no mention that I had to nag you to go to the Docs.

Hi Kayte, I'm fine just dealing with the humidity we have been suffering the last week of so.

{{{{{{Gil}}}}}  Happy to hear you are fine sweetie. Hope that humidity heads away very soon. That is the worst.

Hope it all works out for you with the new dosage. Going to restrain my comment about the humidity that Gil says you are all suffering down there. Ooops, guess I didn't, did I? :)

Thanks kayte :rose:
Over the past 2 weeks the humidity has averaged 90% No wonder I'm having problems

I had blood tests taken yesterday too and the tech stuffed it and I now have a lovely bruise on the inside of my left elbow. It only hurts a bit when I twist my arm but the black and purple colours are amazing....not

I am sure the humidity is making it that much worse for you. Hope it cool off and that the new meds do the trick too. :)

 That isn't the fun way to acquire a "mark." Hope that one fades quickly.

*quietly tip toes in to stalk to Kaytester, sees some(fellow) aussies, waves shyly, and tip toes out again*

Hello from Melbourne! Anyone online to chat?

Hi from Sydney!

I would suggest you fill in your profile first then post regular on any of the threads you'd like to make contact on as just this one post & expecting anyone to say Hi isn't really going to work so drop back & post often then you'll find more interest.

Thought I'd pop by and say hello to my antipodean friends - hello back if we've ever met - or we should sometime

Hiya everyone. :)

How good is this rain? I am loving it!! Have had a very lazy and relaxed weekend. Went to a friend's place last night and had dinner (mmmm takeaway chinese) got cuddles, smiles and puked on compliments of my gorgeous godson.
A movie, then drive home dodging some big puddles of water over the road..
sleep in this morning (til 11.30 thankyouverymuch!!).. spot of grocery shopping and back relaxing on the lounge.. ahhhh.

How did everyone else spend their weekend?

shoveling snow, making nekkid snow angels, sex..........usual winter stuff......:D

Sounds like the perfect lazy weekend, ICR! (minus the puke, but I guess that could happen whether you're with your godson or out on the town, right?)

I went to see a play on Friday night, and got so carried away in conversation with awesome company that we totaly missed the last bus and ferry, but I went home grinning like a lunatic, great night.
Saturday was boring, did a lot of schoolwork, and today was breakfast with really good bunch of friends, a spot of retail therapy - underwear shopping ;) and just waiting now for a friend to arrive for a game of Wii.. awesome!

And rain ... it's frikkin fantastic!
